The other problem is the "voice over" talent goes down at the end of the sentence and turns into a mumble, so there's that as well. But, I got what I needed: Locks on the left mean a left handed split arm. PS Years ago, when I wrote radio commercials for a living, I was constantly trying to convince clients they didn't need "music that sounds like bolts in a blender" but they were insistent. Today, it's UA-cam videos. It's either bolts in a blender like this or the incessent ukulele. I won a major award for an ad I wrote for the Smithsonian Freer Sackler Galleries in 2002: The background was gentle water flowing and a calming voice telling people the musuem was a place to contemplate life and art. We ran it in drive time and people would turn the ad up for "60 seconds of Zen in the City." You don't need obnoxious music behind everything, especially an instructional video. But, sadly, the production is often given to an 18 yr old. And a committee decides on the background noise.

Quite so. Fortunately, they could simply redo the voice over with practiced talent, and omit the music entirely. That would be very helpful.

Jim - Thank you for the feedback. I have passed it along.

When the window is in a closed position but not locked it’s tight on the bottom and a 1/4 inch gap on top. When you lock the window it pulls in the window but with very little tension. Is there an adjustment as the window leaks badly? We had someone come out but said it wasn’t the windows fault and clearly it is. Thanks

I have a question, I have an anderson casement window with the outer pane cracked , the inner pane is fine, Is there a way to just replace just the pane or do I have to buy the sash ?

No the insulating unit has failed when that happens , The argon gas has escaped and air containing humidity has intruded.

The music on this video is way too loud and distracting - it practically drowns out the man's voice. Good information is included in the video if you can manage to hear it.

I am sorry but the casement window did not have marks in the right hand side of the window. Mine is lower left and very hard to read due to the age . we can make out an 8 to the left of AW then it looks like a 75/?????. Any help would be great as both of the operators are now broken.

Can someone tell me why the space under the sill/sill stop is open and not insulated? Can I add some insulation there?

it's almost impossible finding a simple part for a 400 casement window from 1991.

I'm 3 yrs late to your comment but- same problem with my old Anderson windows. I can easily fix my problem if I can find the part. It appears they just want you to buy new windows for thousands, instead of the easy fix

In my opinion do not buy Andersen windows! I bought 13 windows that eventually fogged and collapsed . The issue was a defect related to the Argon gas leaking out. By the time this happened it was too late but I expected that Andersen would stand behind their products. They do not. Beware!

So many comments about annoying loud music! Andersen doesn’t care - they don’t pay attention to peoples comments!
