As someone who as also struggled with addiction, I think you hit the nail on the head; the world wasn't ready. All art is married to pain in one way or another...either the joy of its total absence, or just an encore to the bittersweet symphony. I don't want her song to ever end: just the thought of it makes me angry.

Everyone in this current version of reality could use a heaping dose of Bibi’s real talk, her unapologetic, friggin raw and emotional life experiences to help facilitate some humility and compassion. I can’t think of a single female artist who’s lyrics are more relatable to me than Bibi’s poetic prose. She’s so on target, ahead of her time, has a super sexy recognizable voice and so much transparency and authenticity in her words and her work. Bibi, when you talk about how something beautiful can grow out of some really dark times, you have no idea how much that has impacted me to KFG 🙏 just when i felt like i wanted to give up, i heard those words from you and they brought tears to my eyes but also filled my heart space with hope and feelings of understanding and compassion ❤ thinking to myself, Bibi has been here and clawed her way out of the depths of personal hell (admittedly some of it personally created/self inflicted I.e. addiction) and I’m damn well going to do the same. Thank you for the inspiration to continue, Bibi 🙏❤️🙏 I can’t ever thank you enough for this song, and “What If” and “Ego.” They all resonate so deeply with my soul.
