Another brilliant video that has me aching to go to the Azores. Thanks to you both. And, loved hearing Salvador - he speaks!! :). I’m in the early stages of planning a trip to show Lisbon to my mom in May…I may sneak a wine experience with Salvador in the itinerary!!
Janz once again you show the world the magic of my Portugal! You are so poetic calming even mesmerizing in your words and stunning cinematography. You always capture Portugal’s beauty and essence so completely 💖 It’s always been beautiful, a gem really but hidden from the outside for awhile only known by its adoring people. Now the masses have discovered it. I only pray that they enjoy it but don’t destroy it. I want to share it but another side of me wants to keep it to myself. As someone leaving there now I think you know what I mean ☺️ Thank you for your beautiful videos only thing I dislike is that it’s too long before we see another one 😛
Very well said, Azores needs to be protected at all costs, not just by the Azoreans but by any one who loves natural beauty, safe daily living, clean environment & so on .... & by the ones like me who have seen first hand other paradises destroyed by greedy opportunistic wasteful humans who are just out to make a buck & care nothing for our environment & our animal friends .. I was born on majestic Pico island many years ago, it was-is the best place to grow up as a kid & I want those islands to be there as they are now for many future generations to enjoy them like I did,, This video makes me miss my true home very much cant wait to set foot there once again... I agree Janz is a natural at this stuff. @@TheBelle46
Pico Azores... my mother land. I'm way overdue for a visit. It would be cool to check out how much the island has changed since my last visit in 1986 and it would be cool to meet Fortunato Garcia and check out his wine cellar. Top video! Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Canada
It sounds like you've stumbled upon a hidden gem for wine enthusiasts! Discovering unique and rare wines can be an exciting experience, and it's something that collectors often cherish.
I just wanted to let you know (as a local) that your passion and dedication to truly getting to know Azores is truly appreciated. I have also seen your content on the rest of Portugal and all I can say is thank you. Your content is amazing and the narrative is so captivating, making justice to the beauty of this country. Wishing you all the best.
The cinematics of rach part of this stunning video and multi camera angles is such prestige I'm about to visit the island this month and this video of yours was fantastic for letting me know about the areas I didn't know about being myself from São Jorge island ❤❤ Loved the fact you talked about the significance of the Pico wine and recorded the stories of the wine makers very much
Hello, thanks for watching this video. We rented a car, yes. Unfortunately, car rentals in Pico isn't cheap, and it doesn't get better in the busy, summer months. That's likely because of the limited car companies in the island.
You have a gift and sensibility to capture the essense of our country thats i believe you feel it beeing yours too. But i hate you calling azores to my Homeland. Its AÇORES.

scooter might be an alternative option. I will investigate further.

cool video, but disappointed that advertising of vine takes the most of time instead of island viewing
