This is great! I ordered one. I’m an adult that really wants to understand working electronics. I’m thinking of using it to prototype basic analogue guitar effects pedals. You did a fine job with this. The board layout will visually help so much. I don’t see why I couldn’t expand to a breadboard if needed.
This really is a great tool for learning no matter how old you are. It'd make using a breadboard for PCB designs much easier and make understanding how everything is suppose to work much easier as well. They also have similar devices like this one that has a breadboard built into it so you can test your circuits out while being able to adjust voltage and amperage inputs.
The only problem I see is that there's no explanation for how the projects work... yes, they are easy to put together connecting numbers, but you don't know why those connections are happening... almost like paint-by-numbers that you can finish a number of projects but does not make you an artist...
That's a very good point! I'll make sure to address that in the next video I make on this tool. The book that comes with it does explain the reasons why each connection is made and what's happening within each circuit.
@@willsarcadeservice4599 The book explains why each component is connected, and what they do in each specific circuit/project? That would be great if so.
@@shyjy6241 Yes! The Manual that comes with this set does actually explain every detail with each component. It goes through why each component is used and how they effect the outcome of the setup.
Great video! You explain things simple for my smooth brain. Really appreciated.
Cool tool, I'd like to play with one of those. Thanks for taking the time to share
9:02 No, that is the AM bar antenna. The capacitor is below the board.
