I switched to a top load with no agitator. It sucks and I wish I could set it on fire. It is constantly becoming unbalanced during the spin cycle. It’s unbelievably frustrating. I would not recommend it.
Really? 'Cause my darn agitator washer constantly wraps pant legs and sheets around itself! Was thinking about switching out the tall agitator to the plate agitator.....
Informative, and humorous! Great video. Which is easier to service? Is there a difference in durability, and can you fit more clothes in a machine with no agitator?
I just baught Maytag with agitator but it was pathetic spin basket was getting off balance and I had remove few items to make it balance, then I went back to the store and got the without agitator so have problem of balancing.
had agitators that also trapped lint in the central shaft, in a small mesh bag - that's good. Now I have a Westinghouse wash plate - where and how does it remove and expel the lint ??
I’ve seen recently a washer which can accommodate both a washtub and an agitator. Can’t think of the manufacturer name but I do remember seeing this in an add. Not sure if you’d want this but there are models that give you both.
The difference between a V8 and 4 cylinder. I'll take the V8. The agitator wastes water, the non-agitator wastes money, because it doesn't work. 🤣 The best washers were made in the 70's and 80's and some are still in use.
I still have my Mom's late 70's Maytag Wringer Washer. Once in a while I still use it when I want my white cloths to be white. Nothing beats an old Maytag Wringer Washer. That Agitator really moved the cloths around.
Prior to this I couldn't find a video that really explained the difference. Thanks.
Come for a video that says "which is better?" Then says I dont know, its up to you.
I would prefer the agitator.
U and anyone who wants clean clothes
It's not a waste of water if it gets your clothes clean. It's water being used for a purpose.

Exactly! I’m expecting it to either beat itself to pieces or tear up the floor. No kidding! It’s horrible

Mine has agitator and most of the time clothes get imbalance making weird loud sounds , I am planning to switch to NO agitator?

Is the standard agitator dual-action or only the ActiveWave?

Why do a video "which is better" and conclude its up to you?
My thoughts exactly

Great job. Ignore the haters.
The agitator works better on blankets and comforters
speed queen from 2017 agitator is the way to go
Up to you mullet no mullet 😂
Can I add an agitator and take out the wash plate?

I think I prefer the older washer style...top loading and agitator.
Not for me to decide? Why have this video. We need you to decide lol
Cool hair
