  • The hours that international students are allowed to work has been changed. From September 2024, all students both incoming and current students are allowed to only work 24 hours a week. That therefore makes us ask this question if international students can work to lay their tuition fees and living expenses in Canada 🇨🇦 . You did not consider working full time during the summer
    I think that will help

Full time during the summer is usually after two semesters of study. So I believe having the resources to pay for the first 2 semesters and working towards paying the next year of study by working during the summer is another way to go but currently most masters and PhD students get registered in the summer either for research or just masters re-registration and universities like University of Manitoba says categorically that masters and PhD students do not have a scheduled break so they aren’t allowed to work full time during the summer so that summer full-time opportunity is becoming subjective to the university you attend. This rule does not affect undergraduate students though.
Therefore that is another way of paying one’s fees.
