Class six are back again and they have been rehearsing the school play Jack and The Beanstalk.
Do you thing everything has gone according to plan?
Absolutely not - this hilarious teacher is trying to keep control of the class as everything gets worse and worse
What is Jack and the Beanstalk?
it's a children's story.
Jack, a poor country boy, trades the family cow for a handful of magic beans, which grow into an enormous beanstalk reaching up into the clouds.
Jack climbs the beanstalk and finds himself in the castle of an unfriendly giant.
The giant senses Jack's presence and cries, “Fee, fie, fo, fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman!”
Outwitting the giant, Jack is able to retrieve many goods once stolen from his family, including an enchanted goose that lays golden eggs.
Jack then escapes by chopping down the beanstalk.
The giant, who is pursuing him, falls to his demise, and Jack and his family prosper.

Who is Michael Rosen?
My first book for children was called Mind Your Own Business and it came out in 1974. Quentin Blake did wonderful line drawings for it.
Ever since then, I’ve been doing these things:
Writing books
Writing articles for newspapers and magazines
Going to schools, libraries and theatres and performing the poems in my books
Helping children write poems and stories
Making radio programmes, mostly about words, language or books
Appearing on TV, either reading books, or talking about books
Teaching at universities about children’s literature
Running workshops for teachers about poetry
In any week, I might be doing all of these things! To tell the truth, I don’t really know what I’m doing tomorrow, unless I look in my diary to see.
