I remember seeing this when it first aired. I knew Harland would do well, but this had me in stitches. I hated that it was canceled, as this was the only episode I saw.
I missed it he was so young and with the Chewbacca that's when I was a teenager I used be in love with his outfit his boots in 2009 but he is mature then I'll leave him with my sister he is very funny looking.
Hahaha.. this is perhaps the best Thank God-performances I've seen on UA-cam (which is impressive since generally speaking the Aussie version pwns the US version). Great job Harland!
I remember watching this when it came out. Harland and Bryan Cranston were very funny. I think if most of the guest on this show were half as funny it would have stayed on the air because it really was a lot of fun
It sucks that the only improv show that got viewers was Whose Line Is It Anyway. Short form games. Maybe long form is too unpredictable to hold a TV audience that wants guaranteed laughs.
This is based off the Australian one, the one where Josh Lawson portrayed an explorer from the Amazon. Both Harland Williams and Josh Lawson aced the part completely.

That was hilarious!!! As far as the copying ideas comment goes, I'm Australian and yes we copy American ideas all the time, does Australian Idol ring a bell?!
heres the thing...everybody thinks there version is better just because they know the background of the comedian therefore they stick to them, and when we watch a comedian we don't know, its a bit tougher to relate...so just ignore the fighting and watch the show!
This is the only skit from the american version where I thought the actor actually "got it". The american version seemed to be dependent on comedy actors who are awesome with a script. The aussie version went with radio comedians and absurdist comedians who are more experienced with thinking on their feet.
I remember seeing this on tv when it came out. Blew my mind how well he did at improv.
While most contestants on this show were simple followers, Harland took the lead and he did it perfectly
This continues to be the best piece of improv I've ever seen. Amazing!
Awesome! I remember seeing live... his regular stand-up kinda sucked, but when he did improve with the audience, it was hilarious.
Joey Shamel I just saw him live 3 weeks ago. It was insanely funny. If he ever goes to your town you must go
Harland is one of the most underrated comedians of our time. Every movie he's in is that much better because of him.
I find it hilarious that he keeps them on their heels the whole way. The look on their faces says it all.
I remember seeing this when it first aired. I knew Harland would do well, but this had me in stitches. I hated that it was canceled, as this was the only episode I saw.
He was brilliant! I remember lmao when this aired originally.
Prime example of Harland's comedic genius in action.
Brilliant! True artist at work!
nothing less than legendary.
Harland WIlliams is made for this. He should have been part of the Green Screen show.

Harland Williams, David Alan Grier, and Dave Foley... what a lineup!!
AMAZING...improv at its finest
Harland Really rules the show!!
Harland was one of the few who made the premis actually work.
Across all seasons in all countries, this is a top 5 set for sure.

His face after he says KFC is just hilarious.

they should bring this show back
Harland Williams is Canadian, one of the reasons why he's funny
Genius in comedic improvisation is also seen in the jazz world. Both soften the blow of life's temptations.
"Yes...Let's Do...Shall we Pillsbury"
love tht guy
Definitely.
WE SHALL BOW TO LORD HALAND WILLIAMS!
Harland Williams with a grand slam performance.
I missed it he was so young and with the Chewbacca that's when I was a teenager I used be in love with his outfit his boots in 2009 but he is mature then I'll leave him with my sister he is very funny looking.
harland is so great
I saw this when it first aired. Has it really been five years since then? Holy hell...
Shows him with some girls:What were you exploring here? I do believe I was exploring the deeper jungle lmao

I love that there's two Canucks prominently featured in this vid ;)

Hahaha.. this is perhaps the best Thank God-performances I've seen on UA-cam (which is impressive since generally speaking the Aussie version pwns the US version). Great job Harland!

I remember watching this when it came out. Harland and Bryan Cranston were very funny. I think if most of the guest on this show were half as funny it would have stayed on the air because it really was a lot of fun

Harland didn’t need to be ready for the ensemble. The ensemble needed to be ready for Harland.
Yeah

btw dont forget hero's returns in 7 days
accept david's trap doors
The magic sea turtle. Lol
This is based off the Australian one, the one where Josh Lawson portrayed an explorer from the Amazon. Both Harland Williams and Josh Lawson aced the part completely.
The magic turtle.
i have to say Wayne Knight then Harland
quick witted
Well, according to Wikipedia, Lincoln's still alive and living in Korea, so...
Agreed.
I agree, the Aussie version is the original right and much better. Harland was the best of the U.S. series.
Funniest man alive
his improv is off the hook.
@xnappyboyyx i so agree
5:53 might be the best part 😭
this is really funny! would you mind getting out of the way you freak! what did you call me? LOL

i shant untill i have a "blast" off of his hash pipe lmao....very very creative,on the spot humor .lol
holy shit what show is this it kicks ass lol
lol they have the same pictures from the australian version :]
improv'in and wackyness is definitely his strengths. Hlaf the stuff he said in "Employee of the Month" was random crap that he thought up on the spot.
yeah they didn't have any sell outs on!
hahaha this is pretty funny. isn't this the scene with josh lawson? and the one where he sings sexyback?
ahhh australian humor. hamish + josh.
Pu-re ge-nius.

i disagree. Jason Alexander, George Takei and Bryan Cranston were all very good
Thanks for the names, just checked out Bryan Cranston and it was amazing! :D As good as Harland. Gonna see Jason Alexander and George Takei now.
