I like how just like Ryu, Terry immediately realised Ken is in some kind of trouble but didn’t want to go for details since they know Ken wants to figure things out by his own, like a fighter, rather than relying on other people’s help.
Since the Nayshall incident.
Terry is one seriously nice guy. I mean he asked if you're okay before Buster Wolfing you.

What I love about Terry is he has that travelling, world warrior type of mentality like Ryu does: Roaming from place to place, seeing the world, meeting new people, eating good food, getting into crazy (and fun) fights, and just loves being alive. While at the same time having that spunk, that fire and jovial mood like Ken used to before shit hit the fan for him in 6. In some ways, Terry feels like a really nice blend of the two. Of course he's his own character, but its just something I found I liked about him.
I’ve been saying this since the 90’s. Lol. Terry has elements of BOTH Ryu and Ken, with his own personality and mannerisms as well.
Exactly. Plus Terry's ability to love life and live it to the fullest despite the trials and hardships he's had in his life is very inspiring. It's another reason I'm glad he is against people throwing their life away, as both Krauser and Geese selfishly killed themselves the minute they didn't get their way and were put in their place as they should have been.
Terry also can understand both Ryu and Ken because his journeys has echoes of both of them. Terry had to deal with bloodthirsty revenge against Geese for 10 years, which resulted in Geese actually dying aka Ken's struggle with JP. Terry also had a burning desire to get strong enough to actually kill Geese and was close a few times to succumbing to his bloodlust aka Ryu's struggle with the Satsui no Hado. Terry's style of the Hakkyokuseiken is just as if not more deadly than the Ansatsuken that is the style of Ryu, Ken, Akuma and Gouken. And it was only till Terry conquered his demons and let go of his revenge, that he was able to hit demi God level where he is practically untouchable at this stage of his life
Terry being in Street Fighter was fundamentally destined to happen on so many levels

I never liked his artstyle but it's a nostalgia feeling to see this in these days
He's a legend. Kof is basically shinkiro art. The leaner look , simple but still eye catching.
His pseudo realistic style has always been kof trademark.
Its kinda funny how SNK's design direction and capcom kinda swapped through the ages.
Snk had this realistic look especially for KoF while capcom back in the day had a more anime design. They literally swapped since shinkiro works noe for capcom and the guy who did the art design for sf4 works now for snk.
Shinkiro will start doing art for both Capcom AND SNK again one day just you watch. Bengus too. They’re friends so why not

Shinkiro still got it even after all these years. From his beginnings at SNK to his tenure at Capcom, his style is just so good.

I loved this interaction between them so much, I can definitely see how Terry could be like a good big brother to Ken. 🌟
I would have also liked it if Terry was with his Garou look in these scenes with this Ken, but I understand that in the end he continued with the classic look so that they would pay homage to Terry and Ken's intro with the cap gesture, an extremely wonderfull and nostalgic detail. ❤️

No way his story mode is literally that piece of fanart where Terry puts his hat on Ken and asks if he's okay. I feel like thisnis taking fromnthe fan reception of SF6 Ken a lot in general, what with Terry asking if Ken is bankrupt and saying his flames are soggy. Those were some of the rumors prior to the games release.

Terry isn't middle aged, dude is 35 in this story and in City of the Wolves. You only hit middle age in your mid to late 40's.

He also references sparring with Ken over 20 years ago in CVS2. Was he in his mid teens then? His appearance in this game is just for fun. Don't get caught up on ages.

really love how it fits terry just being a simple but fun dude with a good heart you'd want to be friends with that may not know all the stuff that's happened to ken but gives support when he REALLY needs it(tbh handling it better than ken's best friend ryu has.) & looking forward to mai shiranui obviously meeting chun li again seeing her being a mother to li fen.(also love a new pao pao cafe being made in metro city as i always loved how compared to other fighters the snk characters hang out there.:3)

tekken v street is canon, but not the tekken with akuma,but akuma is canon to that game if it makes any sense.
With all these crossover between fighting games through recent years we can already assume most of these fighting games that are set in modern times, are in the same universe.

Time passing exists in Street Fighter. In KOF they are still in their 20's. Athena is still a teenager. Mai is 21 years old. Kyo should be barely past his teens too.
Truly Terry is making the king of fighters set in the same setting as the street fighter universe.

Nah these two definitely age. They are fathers now and their sons have grown up into teenagers so definitely at least 15+ years had passed. More than 20 years sounds like an exaggeration from Terry though.
