Mehnaz - We Beimaana - Tabla: Ustad Bashir Hussain Goga - Live in London

Remembering the late Mehnaz Begum (1958-2013) on her 8th death anniversary with a series of uploads on this channel. In this clip from a London mehfil recorded in 1984, she sings the famous Punjabi song We Beimana originally sung for the film Amanat and composed by Kamal Ahmed. Accompanying the vocalist comprise some of the leading names of the Pakistani film industry sadly no longer with us, Ustad Bashir Hussain Goga on tabla, Iqbal Hussain on the dholak, Ustad Akhtar Hussain on the keyboard, Tahir Iqbal on the harmonium and Altaf Haider on the violin. Rest in Peace Mehnaz ji!
