Thank you for being so detailed in your study outline! A lot of videos I've seen cover MCAT studying very abstractly and vaguely. I'm just starting to prepare for the exam and I'll definitely be using your tips :) congrats on your acceptance by the way!
I'm a pre-health peer mentor at my uni, definitely gonna be using these videos as reference material for my mentees when they're getting ready for the MCAT! I really like how thoroughly you showed your note taking process, and I did a lot of the same stuff when I was studying for the MCAT myself in September. Looking forward to more content!
This is the most beautiful and detailed video I have seen so far referencing the methods one has used during content review. Thank you for sharing this! It really seems like a very helpful method for visual learners like myself too and inspiring as I contemplate my strategy to tackle the MCAT. Great job!!!
Hi Inderpreet! Thank you! Unfortunately, I can't share my content review notes due to copyright issues. But I suggest that you make your own notes like these using your own prep book! :)

Hi Briana, I'm so glad to hear that my video was helpful to you! To answer your question, I get my music from various sources but I have been loving Thematic lately :)
Hi! Thank you so much for this video it is super helpful!!! I had a question for you. I am hoping to take the MCAT much later (about 6 months out). Therefore I was wondering if you recommend studying all the prep books and taking notes (so going through all the topics/chapters) first and then later on going through the AAMC outline closer to when I will take the MCAT? Or do you recommend that I read each chapter in the prep book, take notes for that chapter and then go through the outline for that specific chapter the next day? Thank you so much!! :)
Hi Aliya! There is no right or wrong way to study, but you just have to find a method that works for you! You might have to make modifications to what I shared in this video. I recommend you try different methods and see what's (1) effective and efficient, but also (2) sustainable. Studying for the MCAT can take months. So find a method that you see yourself keeping up with for several months without feeling burnt out. Personally, I reviewed all the prep books, took notes, and then went through the AAMC outline because I treated AAMC outline as a quick review and a way to identify my weaker points. Hope this helps! :)
Hi! It seems like you alternate between digital and paper- how did you decide what to do digitally & what to do on paper? That's my biggest struggle right now!
Thank you so much! :) I was wondering for the AAMC filled out outline - did you use the AAMC > 100 page outline and just type in the text yourself to create the pdf you linked?
May I know if the set of krackers materials mcat books suitable for a non-scientific background? since i had been choosing between materials and like 90% of the attendees usually recommend Kaplan but I dont see a comment of people using the materials with non-science background so i worry about the content standard and whether i could understand during my self-prep. Would you please advise on this?
I would actually recommend Kaplan in your case! EK worked well for me because it’s more condensed than other prep books and I had already learned most of the materials in my undergrad, but if you are learning the content for the first time, you would want the most comprehensive resource. From what I’ve heard, Kaplan books are more thorough than EK! I also recommend Khan Academy because they explain concepts very well! Good luck! 😊
I replied to your dm but I’ll write it here in case others are wondering the same thing! I just downloaded the P&S document as a word file first and rotated it to landscape, and then increased the right side margin :)
Nvm, it’s the condensed version. Did you see terms outside of this OCD document that showed up on the AAMC material/your exam? Or were all the terms in the doc?
@@zotzot1778 The high-yield terms were all in the LazyOCD doc but there were some that weren't in it! That's why I also used Quizlet flash cards in conjunction.
