I feel that a big difference between Lenormand and Tarot is that Lenormand is more about what happens and mundane things like “this is what is happening” and Tarot is more psychological, more of the “why this is happening”. I use both! I clarify Lenormand with Tarot and that’s very useful for me. So let’s say I get the child + tower in a 2 card love question. That could be so many things. So then I draw one or two tarot and let’s say I get the 4 of swords + the page of cups. Then I know that healing is happening in the distance and that time out is happening so that the innocence and a fresh energy can be regained. But let’s say I get the 7 of swords and the page of cups reversed. Then I know that the tower is about distance and being cold and that the innocence is captive in this instance. So that works for me :)) I always first think of what the Lenormand combination alone can mean. And after I have formulated my idea or a couple of ideas THEN I go clarify. That way I also work on my intuitive reading of Lenormand. Thanks Layla!!
ah thats sounds gret, im gonna get lenormand for that purpose, because I love my tarot but its so deep and spiritual, and broad, often people wanna know about the mundane, and I find myself at los for words. Ill get thiiiis hihi
I became interested in Lenormand about two years ago and purchased my deck. I was intrigued by the differences in how they are read, and the kinds of information they can convey. Unfortunately I haven't used them much. I found it SO difficult to understand the combinations that I felt I wasn't getting any useful information. I'm looking forward to the rest of this series.
You are amazing. I highly recommend her courses. They are totally full if information and her videos have help me in learning Lenormand as well with my spiritual and personal life experiences.....
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 These cards exited before Madame Lenormand use them. After she use them ( and not only them to be a fortune teller), a man lunched them with the name " Lenormand ". In Brasil they are called " Gypsy Cards" and very rare " Lenormad ".🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Well hi there! What is the Lenormand deck in this video called, that has the gold borders/purple center and gold "L"??? I *really* like that deck!!! 💜💯
It's funny because you look at how tiny and simple it is and you think it's easy, but in fact I have a lot of a harder time interpreting Lenormand than I do with Tarot. Tarot takes time to learn the meanings of each card, and there are 78 of them, Lenormand is easy in that aspect, I should be able to memorize them pretty quickly. But reading is something else. I'm currently learning both the Tarot and Lenormand still, and with Tarot, I was able to pick up on getting deep insights pretty quickly. I mean, I can just pull one card and have some deep answer or advice. Lenormand is a bit different. I don't know if I'm explaining myself correctly. But the thing is, despite how hard it is, it's also SO MUCH FUN. It's true that it's more direct and less esoteric than the Tarot, but that doesn't mean I can't get that type of answer or advice from it, along with getting more earthly answers as well. I feel so attached to it already. A very pleasant surprise, I never hear people talking about this deck in international groups, but it's more famous than Tarot in my country, I feel, so it's also a great way to connect with the people from my country in a way. Your channel and resources are going to be of great use. Thank you!
When talking about the placements in the 9-card spread you stated that the right side is the past and then you re-stated that the right side is about the future. Is it: Left column: past; right column, future, middle column is the present? Please clarify.
Oops. It would be just an error. From left to right: Past to future. So, what you're saying is correct. But again, some people might have a different preference.

Love how clearly you explain this 😊
Kipper has tableau also. Bear is the lenormand card with which I resonate least.
Bear is 'politicians' or 'diplomats'. Strong persons. BTW 'bear' is symbol for Russia :)
Happy new year we love to see you in 2021 xx
