In two races, I went from doing 2.20s in this car to almost doing a 2:16. Did three 17s in my second race, first time ever doing a 17. Went with softs of course over super softs for a race, did a 18.4 to qualify first. Won T1, did a 17.9 on lap 2,. then discovered a new line that I couldn't do on a stock setup and did a 17.2 on lap 5. Your setups are amazing, and you've become my go to! Have used your setups on the Huracan, 488, and R8 LMS, and each one has shaved 1-3 seconds off my time by the end of my play sessions. You're a GOAT! I'm still relatively new to sim racing. I just started with AC and other sims around June doing 2:24s at Spa. Started to meet my barrier with stock setups around 19 with most GT3 cars on the servers. I still have no idea how to setup a car outside of the easy stuff like TC and braking. Speaking of, I'm still piss at braking without ABS so even with brake power at 85% and braking early than I normally do by about 5-10 meters, I still almost did a 17 with your setup.
@@CiroDiMaRzio12304 I'm afraid I can't give you a proper answer, because I rarely use SuperSoft tyres for races! But if I remember correctly, the lap done in this video is exactly the 4th one in a row (for sure it was at least the 3rd), and the grip was still there, so I guess that at this pace tyres should be good enough to last for around 6 laps. But as I said, don't take this as an accurate estimation!
this is where i was looking for, i had a little idea how to set up but it couldnt help me with getting faster then 2:22 i hope i can finally manage to be quicker in the next few races. grazie my friend.
i did like a 7 lap race and my highest time was 2:40 which is so shit please share a setup i had to much fuel and the setup was only on downforce help?
But a good setup doesnt give you this time, maybe 0,5-1s or maybe 1,5s but never 3 seconds, i think it's suggestion, obviously this setup is very good( me too i've improved) but i think you thinking about setup you pushed harder, you were more focused and that's you improved 3s
Great setup my dude, shaved a ton of time off default. Super Softs were nuclear at the end of a lap, but I may have been running warmer temps (22) or pushing a bit too hard. Still good for a mid-2:14 even then. I think I was doing like high 2:15s or low 2:16s before.
I did 2:17.2 with a controller xdd but I can't push too much because it's so hard to control the car with the controller 😂 The set up it's sick btw 😜 Edit1: I was on a wrong tyre, I can get a lot quicker time 😂
after the first corner towards the first S curve i dont get the same speed i only get around 240-243 kmh max is there a option or suggestion to get higher speed? because my quickest time is 2.16.... but that S curve is where i make the most mistakes for what ive seen i take that S curve the same as you do! any idea what i mabey els do wrong?
7-10 km/h difference is a bit strange. The only things that can affect that much the top speed are poor traction out of Turn 1 and/or a pretty strong headwind if there's any. Air temperature can affect it as well: the lower the faster, but it won't make that much of a difference, 2 km/h at most. At the entry of Eau Rouge, speed should always be around 250 km/h in general, and around 243 at the top.
Hey Florent 93 - I saw the hotlap challenge from Mike Smith over at SimRacing604, and decided to have a go (woefully). But I also put a link to this video here, as I used your great setup to get my fastest time on the track. But given I am NOWHERE NEAR your abilities on the track, I decided to also subscribe - and I just love what I call my own "Channel Challenges" - so I might also take you up on one of yours, further down the track (pun intended)

Extremely useful and instructive content ! I'm getting much better lap times with your setup, which is very stable on corners exit :) thanks a lot !!
That's cool. Glad it helps you!
@@florent93 how many laps can u make with ss tires?? i always have the feeling that after 4 rounds i need to change to new set of tires!

Thanks man, and great run!
I definitely used lower temps, can't remember exactly, but I guess it was set at 13-15°C air temp.
How in the name of fuck do you guys go that fast.. I can't get under the 2:20's..
Thanks a lot, helpt me for almost one second!

Why do you tap the brakes 100% for 1 tenth of a second or so? It's so weird and unnatural
put brake power on 85% so you never lock your wheels
No just learn to trail brake
hi Florent)
Hey mate :D
Uncontralable braking behaviour for me. Couldnt complete a single somewhat clean lap.
Only worth for the aero and gearing setup.
Learn to trail brake this doesn’t have abs
