Novostella Blink Review - Smart Flood Lights for home automation!

- This video will go through the product specs, setup, demo and review of the Novastella Bluetooth based Blink Smart floodlights. These lights are 25 watt RGBCW and can do not only 16 million colors but 2700K-6500k whites with bluetooth control. I also review the bluetooth to wifi hub in this video.

I just bought the set of 4 and the gateway box and got them today. Trying to figure out the best way to set up the lights with music
I used the app which you could setup on a table for the music mode but I’ll have to see if there’s another option. It’d be nice if that had a gateway
Thanks for the great review. You mentioned you were going to attempt a homeassistant integration and would put up a video. I scanned through you videos and didn't find anything. Is homeassitant control possible without cloud connection?
Sorry yeah I moved shortly after this (and am about to move again). I was never able tog et a non cloud connected setup going. It does use Tuya however so if you are familiar with Tuya integrations you could use that or the smart life integration. But as for direct I don't have an answer :(
If I set this up for my customer using my telephone and app, how hard is it for them to connect their telephone with the app?

How to mesh all 4 in order to run off music? When trying to do this only 1 reacts to music, how do i sync them all to react to music?

Oh I believe you have to use the hub to sync them that way (amzn.to/3EQwesD) Then you can 'link' them
I'm trying to set up automatic on and off....on my flood light it saying that is unavailable.....so I can't schedule on and off.....on this device.....I went to more.....and that's what it say unavailable
Ok first thing I’d do is uninstall the app, reinstall it, unplug the light, replug it in and re-pair it.
Is there just 1 floodlight that plugs into the mains and the rest run on a mesh ?
They all plug into mains separately. Then the networking runs on a mesh…but they show up as individual lights so you add each of them. Then you can group them in the app for management
I just ordered and received these based on your review and I have tried everything and I can't get them to connect to my bluetooth/wifi.
Make sure they connect to your 2.4 ghz network and that you have a strong connection where the lights are
How do I access the white color temperature control screen. All i get is The color, scene and music sync? I tried to scroll over but no white!!!can someone help? Thanks
Is your model a CCT one? If you get an RGB one it won’t have that, or if you pair it as an RGB vs RGBCCT it may not

Oh I don’t know for that one. Mine was marked as rgbcct. Ip66 is the water and dust intrusion rating not so much a model
