Singer-songwriter Kahlla, aka Freya Volk, was born in Amsterdam and raised in South West Germany. Now based in London, she merges a passion for writing 'bare-all' poetry, her classical musical upbringing and electronic soundscapes to create her unique style of vulnerable, dreamy pop. Kahlla joined us to perform her tracks 'Small' and 'For You' for the latest installment of M.C Sessions.
Filmed at Hackney rooftop hideaway NT's, M.C Sessions is an audio-visual spotlight on some of the most uniquely talented artists from the UK & beyond.
