I just quit the game. It got too much for me with all the cash grab offers and constant screwups. I miss my alliance of 3 years for sure, but it's a liberating feeling having my time not revolve around the game anymore. I can actually do shit now 😂
They actually put music in their offers to make people buy them, like it's Marvel movie trailer. Absolutely hilarious that they go through so much to sell but never put so much effort in basic of making the game fun.
I bought the Time Heist level 80 offer and I will say that it was very helpful for my roster. I've played the game for a while now and majority of the mutant characters I had very low on. This bundle saved me the time to u[grade those character up.
They should put Agatha, Sunfire & Ikaris in the CC store right now. Other toons to consider would be BP1M, Nakia, 2099, Noir, Titania, Absorbing Man, ZIM or ANY one of the new Rebirth members. There's so many new toons that they really are just going to get back to the same point they always do. Around the time just before the milestone orb II was released. (Emma, Sym SM, Moondragon etc etc). Characters will fall out of the meta & nobody will farm them when they're finally released because there's more important things to farm...like gold orb frags & G16 mutant/mystic gear.

I just try to full clear CC regardless of score because of a triple whammy. The room changes, punching up 4-6 mil TCP and every opponent having Apoc on defense (I don't have him yet.). Not worth stressing out over, especially since it's just going to get worse as Scopely has proven recently.

It isn't a bad deal for me, I don't have brotherhood or uncanny leveled or black order. So this gives me a big jump in my TCP and then all the other crap with it, like the gold and mats lets me finish a lot of teams I need to get done. But, if I didn't live in Canada, it would be worthwhile, it's 139.99 plus taxes up here, so it goes over 150 dollars for me. If it was just 99.99 without taxes, I probably would get it. I rather get 2 full games instead, not like I need those 3 teams leveled ATM. This CC, I had to face tangled/eternals/apoc on defense.... I still beat it. So I laugh that now that guy won't have a counter for mine! cause he stacked his defenses.
The last 3 time heist offers together all give you Knowhere Heist characters. Considering Dark Promo Creds is the rarest thing in the game… would you recommend I buy all 3 as a new lvl 58 player?
For me its almost a 2 mill TCP upgrade, plus the additional mats and stuffs, and also a big boost for DD4 gearing up. So overall for a fresh 80 it is a huge boost.
I feel discriminated against for having invested in characters. Yay my blob and pyro go up a bit... Would have been better if the price was discounted for each character you already had at level (like when you buy a dlc pack on steam and already have a couple of them).

What could've been better imo was to decrease the amount of cost per thresholds met, so if I were buying the full $129 (I live in Canada so it's different) it would instead be $115 for example I was asking my dad for it buy not in a begging way, just as a hypothetical because I want to get into the game more and I don't have much as far as characters go but I am level 60
FYI, Time Heist are catch up offers, not endgame player offers, and when you buy one your commander level increases as well. A brand new player could pay $100 to jump to Level 80, receive 27 characters at level 80 without spending any gold or training mats at all, all 27 characters at gear tier 14 again without coating any gold or gear, ability levels at 6/6/6/4 without having to use any ability mats, plus all 27 of those characters at five or six stars without having to collect any shards. Add twenty-million gold, a bunch of training mats, and extra gear to upgrade other characters and it looks a whole lot better. What about the worth of the red stars, gold stars, and level 4 ability materials, what would the regular price for just that??? Just getting a few thousand shards for $100 is well worth it, massively, massively better than what you'd pay for fifty shards on a regular day.
The Time Heist is officially the first thing I ever bought from Scopely. Props to them for making me do it. It took them 5 years to do it, and it will probably take them another 5 to do it again.

Swgoh did something similar awhile back. I think its a great way to help you out especially seen its a decent offer most ppl spend 100 bucks on just one character been able to get that many plus rss sounds great. It is upsetting seen so many offers now though seems like everyday there's something instead of different game modes
I agree 100%!!! This is NOT an investment. It is NOT gambling. You will NEVER see that money come back to you EVER. I equate it to going to the bar. There's nothing wrong with having a few beers every once in a while, but you have to know your limits. Whenever I spend any money on this game, I'm just tipping the developers for the cyber drink they're pouring into my phone.
I was thinking of doing the jump to 50 because I’m at 38…but then I was thinking about how I just started over a few weeks ago after a looooong break. I don’t want to rush the process because there is no finish line to get to. So if I don’t enjoy the day to day activities in the game, I shouldn’t play it. Just my opinion. I did get the hyperdrive bundle way back when…but have long since deleted SWGOH and that money went for nothing. It got me to a high level but there was still a ton of things I couldn’t do.

If they want to make even more money and really not effect the game balance? Give us credit in the time heist for other red stars, etc. What is the harm? More Ultimus and elite red star credits for the late gamers? Red stars are not a cash cow anymore so squeeze the last life out of them and maybe (just maybe) they will get the dolphin and whales to buy the $100 pack.
the fact that it gives free commander levels makes this pack just wrong. I'd understand if it gave the other stuff but required a player to have actually earned the level, but this allows new players to skip a year and a half worth of grinding

I equate the game to drugs. You give money you get a momentary high. Repeat. Then they want more money for a bigger high but it doesn't last as long each time. You start begging for money and doing things your ashamed of like hiding you spending from your wife. 😅 eventually if gets so bad it kills you love of the game and you have to go cold turkey.
I thought it was worth it. I started playing when cap Sam was in strike pass release so it was after $$. I got all the stronger teams and didn’t have a reason to build old teams. I haven’t touched Uncanny,pym,black order, nor brotherhood. It was an increase in 2 mil tcp for me plus all the other stuff. I now have decent teams to use in war offense and defense now. Worth
I’m in a similar situation. It’s your money but I feel like all those teams are worthless. I would personally never spend $100 on a game like this with devs who make bad decisions constantly. I hope you enjoy it and don’t regret it, however
