Reminds me these American ads that ran a long time ago, they were animated commercials for this "stop smoking" campaign and they always ended with some of the characters dying. They traumatized me. They started out realistic enough: a group of teenagers/young adults all about to cross the road at a crosswalk, one stops to light up a cigarette and gets smashed by a bus. The last one I remember ended with some ridiculous chain reaction of someone's still lit cigarette butt burning a tree trunk (think like how a beaver chews through a tree to make it fall over), which made the tree fall and crush an innocent bystander.
