Spoke facts about most people just seeing a bet lost and moving on. For every one person that recognizes they got screwed on the settlement, there’s hundreds of others that just saw it lost and moved on
I feel for you but this is one of the dangers in arbing. When it’s unclear on the rules the books will settle in their favour and you are out of luck. I’ve seen so many people try to fight these things but what ends up happening is you lose and your account is terminated for raising the complaint. Sometimes it’s better to suck it up and just continue looking for new opportunities.
I really like your breakdown of the details - and the fact that you even shared this - and agree with @paulsmith6751 that some sometimes it’s best to take the “L”, keep your peace of mind, and use this information to inform future decisions. Happy arbing and happy upcoming Turkey Day! 🥸🦃
In finance there is a saying that goes as ‘Don’t be a dick for a tick’. Unlucky outcome but the wording is vague. I am sure they have a published version somewhere to cover their asses off. Good luck, your report will deginetely will make a change
I can’t reply back to you for some reason but I hope it works out for you man! Sucks that diff states commissions are so diff, def worth reaching out. I will say I’m in Ohio and had over 3k in fanatics wagers marked as “won” and total payout “0” and have not heard from my commission since I sent multiple complaints a month ago
Btw, for a lot of these scenarios you can just threaten to report them to your state gaming commission, and mention to the agent that you will be including their name and the chat log, if they don’t pay out accordingly
lol this is def state by state. If you live in Massachusetts then simply threatening them that you’ll report it will likely work. Any other state the gaming commissions are awful. I’m in Ohio and I literally got scammed by fanatics and had bets marked as won with 0 payout and lost 4k and they haven’t even responded to me. 100% depends on the state and most states, books are in the pockets of the commision. Mass is the only state where threatening would work
@@brad.w9872 oh man I was afraid of that. And I hope you are wrong about the books just paying them off. That could add to my general and growing distrust of the world lol
I personally think you would have a better case against FanDuel, since their house rule directly contradicts the wording of the bet. The bet should definitely read under 59.5. Then you would have known there is a chance of losing both bets at 60 seconds. Looks like you got your money back though
And that is an email and a form to your state gambling commission. If you're in a red hat traitor state, don't waste your time. I've had a couple settled in New Jersey and one in PA.
it's the principle for some of us. Sportsbooks are so scummy. ever wonder why we don't have betting exchanges in the US (which are INVALUABLY better for end-consumers)? They have politicians on their payroll bud. Do some digging. I'll lose sleep over getting screwed out of $20 by a large corporation. I've lost 5 figures in a single trade & it didn't haunt me because its simply variance. you can't plan on getting fucked over.
Im so sorry to hear that!!! I totally agree with you. I hope and wish this ends with a favourable resolution for you!!!

@@paulsmith6751 this was a fear of mine. I hope fight DK on this isn’t punished. It’s common sense for crying out loud lol

They may put you on a database that's shared within the industry to lose your account?
@@garrybeynon3233 im just going to hope you’re wrong lol seems crazy to hold something against someone who is in the right
Terrible Arbitrage Bet because it left too much up to the Book. But you could not have known that either. Sucks anyway you slice it
Lord…please let Dinger Tuesday happen this week.
😂😂
I would fight with both books
lol i would never do this on combat sports only nfl or nba
the house always wins
Let us know outcome
I’ve come to the conclusion these books are cheating and don’t even care. I’m officially done.
Later!
Like and comment for the algo 🙌 take down the books

You're gonna spend more than $1000+ to get back $500?
Holy shit dude if you are losing sleep over $500... You shouldn't be doing this gawdamn
