It's like they didn't even try with the star for Mario Odyssey. Sure, you still get hit, but don't lose life. It's not even the correct star theme.
N64Mario it's not the same, you should be able to ram into anything and go fast with the knowledge that nothing but pits can even scratch you for the next 10 seconds, not "oh you got hit, let's not count that, ok?"

It's not a starman at all. It's invincibility obtained from scanning an amiibo, but this invincibility doesn't kill enemies, and you can still get stunned by them, but you don't lose health.
There's really no starman or super star in Odyssey.

64 & Super Paper are my favorites, period. Who can't resist such a soft and short song like the Wing Cap theme! It even got a metal remix which was amazing! Then Super Paper Mario went and things just went into perfect territories. It's PERFECT!!
