In hindsight I am quite glad they omitted Jeong Jeong (one of my favorite minor characters from the cartoon) in this adaptation considering how horribly they butchered everyone.
14:47 - I believe that the reason of the problem right there is that the whole show is trying to be a movie. And all of it doesn't feel like a bunch of adventures driven by a common goal, but just like a set of challenges on one adventure. You know, like in "to get there you must go through The Dark Forest, The Rough River and The Dangerous_Adjective Common_Noun" type of thing.
I was going to say maybe the sun works different on Avatar world because maybe Avatar world is a disc. But no, you're right with that quote from the original show.
I know you’ve been uploading pretty consistently, but I only recently rediscovered your channel after remembering your Creepypasta reviews and binge watching them all the way through. I first found you around the release of the Sonic.exe video, and it’s nice to see that you’re still around. Keep it up!
15:44 I will say this isn’t necessarily out of no where. Like azula’s fire instructors, lo and li are not firebenders yet can still help train her. But then again, they’re also old women whose jobs were training firebenders. Not some random guy with a piece of grass in his mouth that is suffering some said trauma he is helping “girl boss” through
Honestly I'd extend that same criticism to the original show. I have no idea why Azula is being trained by two non-benders in the first place, except for the sake of the joke in the finale where she wants them to have an Agni Kai and then banishes one of them without knowing which one is which. Funny joke, but ultimately very confusing as to why they're her instructors.
@ that’s fair. I personally just always saw it as, if you study enough, you could teach it despite not having the abilities yourself. Sorta like how iroh can use waterbending techniques to lighting bend, despite obviously being a fire bender. Only reason I give azula’s instructors a pass is a) they are only really in the show for a few gags. And b) their old as dirt. They probably have learned lot to teach just from age. But yeah, it is rather wild that azula’s was taught by non benders. Feels very not fire nation 😭
The fuzziness of the background is likely due to the use of the Volume set. They use it a lot in this series, and what feels like too much. It’s often why some areas and sets feel so small. They have to make sure it fits within the volume too
I just don't see the point in live action remakes in general, they'll always be something to complain about so why not just promote the original animated show?
So true what you say about the tone or age rating being totally inconsistent in the fight scenes. They should have gone all in on the violence IMO. Make it like game of thrones
Hey man, unrelated to the vid, but I remember seeing videos you made on Jeff The Killer years ago, and I revisited them recently. I was wondering if you've heard of or even checked out the recent re-write of JTK made by a creator named Pastra. Now idk if you'd still care or are even into creepypasta content anymore, but I'd be genuinely interested to know what you think about it considering your comments about Jeff in the past, since I actually think it's pretty good and may be the best re-write we've gotten, definitely a lot better than say the 2015 re-write too. I'd be curious to know your thoughts on it.
We recently found out why they keep repeating their traits: Netflix is now making content specifically for people to watch as background noise, so the only way they can follow along is to repeat the same thing Over and Over and Over again.
That depends on the season when the Siege of the North is taking place, as long as it's not the middle of winter or summer it's reasonable for there to be a normal day/night cycle. But considering the fact that they dip back and forth between hemispheres, determining what season it actually is can be kind of tricky without a solid timeframe, if anything it makes Roku's deadline of the "summer's end" a bit questionable.
I hope we'll get to this scene eventually: ZUKO: [get's in the escape boat but steps on something] Ugh, there's some ugly green sticking shit on the bottom... IROH: ... Looks like you gonna need a deferent boat, Prince Zuko. ZUKO: [gets into a deferent one] Uncle, all of our boats are fucking rigged! IROH: ... Looks like your little venturing off gonna wait, as we have some interrogating to do.
ZUKO: It can't wait! IROH: Well, just scoop it out before safely lighting up the furnace then! It's not like there're any highly skilled archers, who could snipe a jar with a fire arrow from great distance, around anyway.
Thank for not being blind to how bad this show is like most people I hated the first 10 minutes and couldn't sit pass the first episode, the only thing that kept me watching were the effects so I skimmed through the whole show just looking at the fight scenes and powers but that's it this show is terrible and not worth anyones time!
In hindsight I am quite glad they omitted Jeong Jeong (one of my favorite minor characters from the cartoon) in this adaptation considering how horribly they butchered everyone.
Don't jinx it. He might get included in the third or second season.
(Unless there's an article I haven't read about Jeong Jeong not being included.)
By this point, I am just amazed at how they find new ways to fuck up Sokkas Story, that you couldn't imagine in your wildest dreams.
Bad dads are the only parents modern writers know

These videos are still so cathartic for me.
That fire bender in the middle of the city is so on the nose it's hilarious. The only thing missing was him cackling evilly.
I was going to say maybe the sun works different on Avatar world because maybe Avatar world is a disc. But no, you're right with that quote from the original show.
We are finishing this series before season 2 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
The trainwreck continues.
The show is so bad that I never watched it.
🍻
Good for you dude😂 I watched only 2 episode and it's so terrible
I couldn't finish, it felt like a longer version of the live action movie I also stopped watching after 40 minutes.
I'm mad that UA-cam waited until now to recommend this to me, even though I watched ALL the other parts of it weeks ago.

Poorly emotionally controlled azula before sozin comet is not what I expected from any adaptation of this story.

More Avatar slander let's goooooooo!!!!!!!!!
im glad this series isnt done yet
The only only positives I can say is that the sets, actors, and costumes look fantastic. Everything is is completely terrible, especially the writing.
I just don't see the point in live action remakes in general, they'll always be something to complain about so why not just promote the original animated show?
The actor is suck the only good actor is soka and all the firebender all of them it's suck specially katara and aang
I think the watertribe outfits look weird. They're so blue it looks fake
Justice for Sneers.

3:11 Considering Zuko's scar looks like a small bruise in this series I doubt anyone would actually notice

I applaud you sir. Thanks
15:00 this feels like that Andrew Tate quote: 'you know why he k***ed himself? cause he talked with his therapist about sad shit'
A T really should have seen a therapist either to get help or to off himself before he decided to start trafficking
FINALLY you are back.
Now that you made me think about it, I'm realizing that the original got this wrong in the north pole.

Pls keep these going!! ❤
15:03 cure to depression
Wow I got this video the day it was released.
Sticking out your diet for the Riddler
Man…
I haven’t clicked on a video so fast in my life. Been waiting for this 😂🎉
I hope we'll get to this scene eventually:

Dude make a playlist
Finallyyyyy
2:16 please don't use an ableist slur.
I agree with everything you said, just don't use slurs. Not sure what else to say.
