social dancing tango is real. if you're near San francisco, new York city, portland, Houston, denver, salt lake those are all great tango communities in the us. they're all over europe. social dancing is not expensive. i dance socially for 4 nights a week on about 20 dollars total. but be prepared, argentine tango is danced socially, this is ballroom tango and is not danced socially, it's danced between a partnership for performance. argentine tango is a dance of leading and following , of communication, of community and socializing, of intimacy and vulnerabilty. it takes much longer to learn and master, but the rewards are more than worth it. look in your local area for social argentine tango. highly recommended
