What an amazing location Steven, epic view indeed. Those cliff faces were stunning and beautifully highlighted through the drone footage. Felt your pain mate, when the light disappeared. Nothing but complete despair on your face. The image you captured when the light was around was sensational, I can only imagine how amazing the scene would have been if you were granted your wish of a burst of light as the sun set. Great experience, thanks for sharing it mate. Would love to visit for my own landscape adventure one day!

Beautiful location. Clearly illustrates some of the frustrations of landscape photography. How many times have you visited a location and come away with no images. Still enjoyable getting out and it gives you incentive to revisit that awesome spot. Loved the final image.

Another quality video Steven. I know all about hanging about....just back from Glencoe where I treked up a hill in the dark, braved a snow storm (or two) just for the fleeting 2 minutes of light on the mountain I wanted to photography. It was hard work, but oh so worth the effort and wait.

What a stunning location! Sorry you didn't get the all important light but it gives you a great excuse to re visit! Is it far from where you live?
Keep up with the great work Steven and take care on your travels mate.🍀

A frustrating shoot for you, but still an interesting vlog. I was stood at that very spot a few weeks back and never got any of the nice warm sunset light either, but its a stunning location and definitely one to revisit.

Hi, what system are you using to stack the polarizer along with the ND filters simultaneously?I also use their filters and love them

Hi Emma. I use their new Firecrest 100mm holder. The polariser fits to the front of your lens and then the Firecrest holder clicks onto it using a geared system, so there is a little wheel on the side of the filter which you spin and it rotates the polariser. It's a great system.

Great image. Chasing the "perfect" photo is like a game. Still, the fun is there, isn't it?

I don't know why but it always looks better from above you can stand at the top or the bottom but it's always the cliffs from the air that are the best just like in this video good job.

Hey Steve, great vlog, shame there was no shot you wanted. Also your promo code doesn't work, not sure if it's country based only?.

That's a pity Steven about the the light on this occasion. For thirty years or so I have walked around here and when the light is great , its great. But a lot of effort is required when you have to return again uphill. Never mind keep it up always enjoy your vlogs. Likewise check out if you have not already: Thomas Heaton; Craig Roberts and Nick Page - Vlogs. Regards, Allan Davies.
