In fact listening to k nti let me realize that k bee died of palpitation of heart & insufficient Cadillac respiratory aaarr awurdi if like it was oyibo kromuaa like k bee would've survived within 20mnts cos one of my uncles friend geos through the same symptoms & survived within 15mnt with surviving instruments & some heart palpitations tablets to swallow & within 35mns after surviving my uncles friends started playing football on the hospital yard pitch with patients & it was amazing but u see in the gh we hv just a few competent doctors only u should know where their hospitals are located to survive incase of any emergency symptoms nature if not the rest sorry to say they are incompetent & insufficient in medicine as graduates like where k bee was admitted now we need to reinforced & reform some of our doctors who are incompetent to becomes more competent powerful in terms of good performance in hospitals without any death unless I repeat no exit of surviving..thnx 🍁

Only comatose patients can be on life support. First you should show some signs of unconsciousness before you can be intubated. Kofi was alert and verbally responsive which will make that impossible, unless the doctor wants to induce coma. I know it's very sad and

Very true. That's y we as Ghanaians need to take preventive measures like getting regular check ups, taking our medications as prescribed...if he was going to hospital occasionally because of his blood pressure then either he wasn't taking his medications or they weren't the right ones for him.
We don't have good doctors at all
Who knows how many litres oxygen. How did they know he was desaturating, without vital signs check?. All the same am sure they did vitals, maybe the guy forgot that part. If they didn't then that doctor must lose his license. Its seems it happened too quick tho. May his soul rest in peace.

Oh I am sad to hear this, he even made it to the hospital . The hospital couldn’t start CPR and IV , why do you want somebody to swallow meds why he needs the airway to breathe when the heart is not working. The hospital is a mess and must be sued

Sometimes I think post mortem is important just to have closure n for his children to know what runs in their blood for future purposes, who knows what else he had.
It's terrible that this man including various individuals have died due to the inadequacy of the health facilities in Ghana. The Government should invest in the healthcare because majority of the population cannot afford to travel overseas for these checkups. Even Korle bu including Okomfo Anokye, Ridge hospital are inadequate. They hardly have hospital beds or even incubators. When Kofi B was losing breahte, I wonder whether the doctor/nurse even performed CPR.
The good doctors, once qualified, leave the countries for greener pastures (you cannot fault them). There are good doctors and nurses in Ghana however they are limited in what they can do when basic things such as oxygen machines, ct scans, xrays are not accessible. Even these alleged 200 ambulances will breakdown soon. If they had an cardiologist on site, perhaps this death could have been avoided. Alto the doctor including nurse should have deeper than simlpy giving the deceased "oxygen". When people die we keep saying "God knows best" but who knows this could have been avoided by simple care. Clearly he had a heart problem. If they had his medical notes (electronically), they would have understood his needs including implications. All the same guys do not take your regular health cheks for granted, reduce your alcohol intake including all these unhealthy foods. Health is wealth. You don't have to go to the gym to keep fit, walk, skip, drink water.
