- The team with the pink rims! We were placed in the slow group because of engine trouble during AutoX, which we fixed. This resulted with a exciting endurance run!

Captain late brake! I really enjoyed watching your run. Good job keepin your head after picking up that cone and the spin.
Nice driving steve-o. Doin' us proud.
Reminds me why the Lincoln competition trumps all others in dynamic events.
I could listen to that 24/7!
For those who don't understand this, it is the endurance portion of the competition. 2 drivers per car, 10 minutes each, as many laps as can be accomplished with the time available. While it may look similar to an autocross as far as the layout and cone course markers, it is more like a controlled-passing race. The divided lane sections are for passing slower cars, as directed by course marshals. The Michigan International Speedway's back straight is used, and that asphalt is smoother than the concrete at Lincoln, but less grippy.
Do they run things different in Michigan than Lincoln? Im pretty sure each driver runs a set number of laps. For a total two driver race length of 22km.
I can't wait to be a part of this next year!
That is awesome! Glad you posted this! Great job D!
We had a failure in autocross which resulted in a slow time and put us in the slow group. We fixed it for endurance!
Yes we did, didn't realize till after the day... Kinda sucked.
Thanks to the power of datalogging, yes. Max was 67 mph, average around 40-42.

were those other cars in some other class or were you just beasting the whole track?
In the part of the track where there are two sections (essentially a right path and a left path) what determines which side you take? You took the right side just about every time i think. Was that preference/strategy or was it a requirement?
Lol the cars at 9:20. I didn't know FSAE cars could be so slow.
Do you guys run a pneumatic shifting system? and if so, do you guy not clutch during upshifting or downshifting? thank you
How's the track in Michigan? My team hasn't been since well before I was around, from what I've heard the surface was more rough at MIS than at Lincoln Air Park.
How fast is your car!!!
They're just for passing the other (SLOWER!) cars.
Did you get a punishment for leaving track, when you dogded that spinning car around 3:45 ?
What motor were you using?
Any idea of the speeds you hit during this?
Faster than williams
you won't be going very fast very far if you have your eyes on a speedo instead of the track..
welll this is totally different form of autocrossing, I have never seen one car actually catch up to another car that is already out there on the course, I have been doing this for 19 years and there would be no way that we would let this happen, I have always been told as a starter to always make sure that I dont let the next car go until I know for sure that the car at the starting line Won't catch up to the car that is alread out there on the course, that could be a little dangerous...
when that other car spun out like he did and this driver who we were riding with had to go off course to miss him, would that be considered a DNF off course for this driver, this is why we always space our cars far enough apart just so the next driver who takes off, can pretty much have the whole course to himself.......
