If you are a model you have to learn how to work in different weather conditions and if they really didn't want to do the photo shoot they didn't have to. Animals are forced, they weren't. At least they didn't have to stay out there for too long. I agree that it was a stupid challenge, but at least it was an experience they'll remember.

Plus, when this show aired (i think it was around 2010), this awareness of one's worth, treating a person as an individual, a living being worthy of care and respect wasnt still what it is today. At that time , completely subjugating yourself to the demands of the industry was regarded as "being professional" and "ready to do whatever it takes" which is problematic in itself to say the least. These outrageous challanges were even worse in american version od the show

growing up in the cold, our measure for bare skin at -70 windchill, was about 30 seconds before frostbite starts setting in... people can tolerate differently ,,, but people without fat coming from a lukewarm vehicle??? Someone should have made them do jumpingjacks or something to get their blood flowing before putting them straight into the wind.. one of the first things that our body does in response to freezing is to stop blood flow to the extremities.. to conserve heat at the body,, so exercise beforehand would help..
I don't think people realize that being a model is not fancy, you basically become a puppet to do things and take photos and wear ridiculous things, to influence others puppets the mass, to use the things you using, like the photographer said , and they use young girls because they are so easy to buy, just give them some fancy clothes and cheap champagne, and a cover in some magazine

I didn't even know there was a BNTM in existence. But I really like this show, aside from the blatant jealousy majority of these girls have toward Kirsten who clearly hasn't done any harm to anyone outside of be successful.
These girls want to be models but: don’t practice in heels, don’t know how to dress, don’t know designers, etc. They want to get into fashion for the wrong reasons. Which is probably why many of them won’t make it.

Her personality, charm and charisma in person. A top model's not just about taking great photos and having a strong runway walk. She's the total package. The same question could be asked about Brooke from Cycle 7 of ANTM. She had a great personality and performance-wise, she wasn't bad. But she was never modelesque. Which is why Eugena, despite having a worst track record overall throughout the competition, stayed over her.
This show along with ANTM, is just young women being degraded, tortured and put through horrible, unrealistic situations for entertainment purposes. I can't believe I used to watch this when I was younger.
The judges were TERRIBLE this week. A) If Tiffany had accepted the blankets she would have been told she wasn’t trying, but she didn’t so she was seen as rushing ? B) Charlotte is BEAUTIFUL. How the judges thought that was okay is INFURIATING. And C) Tiffany’s face looked INCREDIBLE in that picture, and it just wasn’t picked up on. Elle and Charlie aren’t too bad, it’s Julien and Grace that are shocking. As Kirsty rightly said “They don’t see me as I am…”
