Great advice! I have been stressing about what would happen if I lost my log book. I should also keep an electronic version.
What about a digital copy that you kept yourself? PAST There was an online action that I came across it was a headset and a log book what should the buyer do? The online auction was from goodwill and of course you know the sellers don't have a clue! Topic: aircraft maintenance logs what would happen if you don't have some of the maintenance logs to an aircraft but you have them on a digital server/cloud? Or if there was a web suite started up for this purpose? Are the signatures still valid?

Omar what do you think about home flight sims? Do you think one can gain some helpful knowledge/ skills that can make them a better pilot ?
Definitely. In 2002 I was working on my instrument rating. Home flight sims were not very common so I bought Microsoft Flight Sim 95 and practiced doings holds and approaches. I noticed a huge difference when I took my next flight. I think flight sims are a great platform for the instrument rating. For the private pilots license, its a little tough because that rating is more about touch and feel that you just can't get from a sim. Even when I was an airline pilot, we always complained about the $30 Million dollar Level D sims not being like the real thing.
I will say though, some people expectations of results from flight sim' are little wild these days. I have some parents walking into my school saying they bought a $5,000 flight sim for their kid at home so they should be spending minimal time in the airplane at my school. (facepalm).
I think if you use the sim for practicing flows and checklists its a great tool for the PPL license.

Hello! I want to be an Airline Pilot, but I recently read that pilots are exposed to large amounts of Radiation. Is this something that I, and other pilots should be concerned about?
When I was an airline pilot for 10 years, our dispatcher would give us Ozone reports on the flight release. It tells us what our maximum altitude would be for our route of flight. This helps to minimize exposure to UV Rays. Other methods I did was to use the aircrafts sunshades to block the sun out and using a good sunscreen on my arms. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about it. My dad, uncle, and their flying buddies flew for 30 years without any problems.
