Behind the Narrative
'Frames' was originally a more abstract idea that involved the hanging of frames all over the room. But this idea quickly developed into something completely different.
Influenced by the matrix and other similar films, the writer (Rachael Bancroft) wanted to create a film that was confusing and thought-provoking, making the audience question what is and isn't real.
