For the beginner - Paint a masterpiece (The easy way)

  • In this video I'm painting a loose landscape painting with paint and brushes from Aquafine. I'm painting on a wet paper also know as the wet in wet technique. The motive is a lake with reflected trees around it and a few birds crossing the water.

    Aquafine: Ultramarine Blue dark, Alizarin Crimson, Hooker's Green dark

    The disbursement really surprised me. Great video. I would have liked to see you remove the giant bloom in the reflection, if even possible, just to see the range on lifting, softening edges. This proves to me that the paper is the most important tool in watercolor. I'm wondering if this would have turned out differently on stretched paper? Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.
