They knew she would have been bigger than the band. She would have left them in the dust. She suffered the fate of being over qualified. Simply put....enough said.
@@billyf2833 agreed, I knew from the first time I saw Dilana and Storm that there was no way those little toads would have allowed Dilana or Storm to overshadow them so they chose another little toad to join them, and yeah, they went nowhere fast.
My wife and I have seen Dilana twice at the Firehouse BBQ & Blues and she is awesome and very personable. Hope she sings this song for us on her next trip through Richmond.
That was amazing! I am an emotional wreck right now. This song has been one of my favorites since I was a child, and sadly, despite my strongest efforts to see things work out differently, it tells the tragic story of how work and responsibilities robbed me and my son of so much time. Now, he has grown to be a musician like his dad, and he always talks about how we are going to write and record together someday, but his responsibilities keep him too busy, and now it's me who sits waiting for that day.
Gregory, Excellent post... I actually know the feeling. My son will be 21 this coming October. He is engaged to be married in January 2015... We had a tight bond throughout his life and had a falling out in 2012. Although that situation is water under the bridge, it feels as though like Humpty Dumpty (our relationship), even if we could put it back together again, the fractures and cracks are the constant reminder of that fall which took place in 2012. BTW, I too like the song. ;) Hang in there buddy. DPP
Thx bro. All the best to u and ur son as well. I would respectfully advise that u do ANYTHING to mend ur relationship. Tomorrow is not promised and the love u save will be ur own.
Saw her on Swedish tv (yes the little country in Scandinavia) like 15 yrs ago? Well I can't forget about her. This is not her best. But where the f did she go next? Did she do well in South Africa or US? Please tell me, anybody out there? ❤
This is not belt it out song saying how great that the son turned out the same. It's a sad reflective song about how busy day-to-day life has made him absent too. She is a great singer but I think the meaning of the song was missed.
She was insecure and fragile. Her original song was questionable. Lukas Rossi's OG song was killer and at the time dominated the show. Plus he was very confident. She came across as scattered behind the scenes, but when showtime arrived she shined... Lukas edged out with his song... Without that song, she probably would have won.
Not that I'm trying to be an asshole or anything but you didn't get the lyrics right now I know you cut the song shorter because you're pressed for time but in the chorus you don't say when you coming home son until the very last first but overall I like it just say it
This is a big nope for me. She's a great singer, but she missed the emotion of the song. It's about sadness, lonliness, and regret. She sang it like it was about anger. A great overall performace, but not a good cover of this song. It's almost like she doesn't get what it's about.
One of the most sensitive song of this show....Dilana delivers like nobody else!! xxx
Supernova went *nowhere* because the boys refused to be fronted by this beautiful soul.
For sure!
agreed.but.lukas.has.established.a.successful.career.in.canada,hes.fronted.a.few.different.bands,hes.very.versatile

She should have won

I love the rock edge she spun into it.
One of my favorite songs ever and Dilana smashed it, a phenomenal performance and it was an incredible rendition of a great song!
Absolutely loved her voice. The girl was born a rock star.
That was freaken awesome! Love her raspy voice!
2023 and im stil in love with her!! ❤

She’s amazing!!! Love her! So cool!
who on earth is cutting onions aggh wow what a spectacular powerful and very moving cover of this absolute classic
Incredible voice! Such a wide vocal range, and amazing power!
Still.....TEARS! Where is Dilana? She is amazing!
My wife and I have seen Dilana twice at the Firehouse BBQ & Blues and she is awesome and very personable. Hope she sings this song for us on her next trip through Richmond.
Who couldn't love Dilana's voice? She was great.
She still is!!
UH, ME. SHE SOUNDS LIKE GODZILLA SMOKING A CIGAR.
I don't like it much, is she a wrestler ? 🐗
I am crying. I want to be able to sing like this. I want talent.
Man i would love to hear her sing my way.
I have seen her a couple of times here in the Netherlands.
She is amazing and has a great personality
a great version, Love the song and her voice
She has a beautiful voice I agree maybe not as good as the original but good
No time for verse 3..that's my favorite one.. The turning point
Classic case of "No Girls Allowed" in the boy's clubhouse.
shes got a great voice.
100 time liatening to this. I still havent heard it enough
Cant belive she didnt win! The guy who won was great too, but she was spectacular!
Compared to Dilana, he was marginal at best.

I have been little by little and will put out more effort, as I do agree with your post
An incredible gathering of left handed musicians. Who knew?
i hope this is a joke.
left handed violinists, too!
I think they have to mirror because of royalty.
Even the channel name is reversed, who woulda thought!
never heard of her before, going to her more
you guys lost out big time, she was right, she was the one, always was
I STILL agree with this!
they lost big time...
Between her and toby rand.. they both fit the group so well!
Lucas was kind of a poser I thought.
Shoulda been her from Day1!!
Talented and hot. Perfect combo
i adore this song
The ONE that ALWAYS was.
She actually has a bigger range than she showcased on this show. Listen to her newer stuff. She is incredible.
Linda..
Belos tempos...
2024 listening❤
Nice🤗🤗🤗🤗
A voz meu pai 🗣️❤️❤️❤️
I miss my daddy. Love you
she messed up the lyrics in few parts, but she was pretty good.
Dave Navarro is a baby here! Still so cute
she kick ass on that show
🤘🤘🤘💜
Rossi and Dilana.....DUET!!!!!!
Saw her on Swedish tv (yes the little country in Scandinavia) like 15 yrs ago?
Well I can't forget about her. This is not her best.
But where the f did she go next?
Did she do well in South Africa or US?

watch Rockstar Supernova!
You've got chills put a shirt on

She is a great singer but I think the meaning of the song was missed.
"Super Nova" could have made it, with Dilana "fronting" them
I think they were wrong...she was IT
Damn she hit it
How did she not win????

i live away from my son and this hurts
Supernova 😂😂😂😂😂 What a joke 😂😂😂😂😂
Bof.! a very agressive voice, and all these shoe shiners..
Not that I'm trying to be an asshole or anything but you didn't get the lyrics right now I know you cut the song shorter because you're pressed for time but in the chorus you don't say when you coming home son until the very last first but overall I like it just say it
she should of WON
She was to big for these old guys.
This sounds really great, but lacks the emotional weight of the song. Actually really disappointed.
Sooooo, it sounds really great but yet you're still really disappointed? That's a Trump-like argument, dude. :')

THIS IS AWFUL!!!!
This is the worst version I've heard of this song, she skipped and entire line, words were wrong and the way she sang it was awful
It was on a tv show and there wasn’t enough time to do the entire version of this amazing song!
this sucks
One way of killing a good song.
this song is not for chicks. thanks for trying.
