Who else is obsessed with titanic?
Yeah me same
Same
literally thousands upon thousands of people across the globe.
It’s because all the magical ingredients are involved. Biggest ship ever, unsinkable, and it sank on its maiden voyage. Take away any one of those three things and no one would be talking about the titanic.
Me
It’s 111 years back, and everyone still has titanic in their heart.
105*

I like how the water spilled over the tank like the real film set did
I love titanic
I love practical fx so much they both look cooler than cg, but also have more intrigue to them as yoy try to figure out "hey, how did they do that?" The shot with the sparks was perfect.
i am obsessed with titanic
Very impressive, and almost identical to the film. The breakup of the real ship, however, was vastly different, but i guess it also would’ve been very complicated to recreate. Excellent work either way 👍
Thanks :) Yes, my goal was to try to do the same split that we can see in the movie, but there are a lot of theories about the real breakup ! 😊
Were you there watching from a lifeboat or something?
In all fairness, when the time the movie was made I don’t think people realized the split happened that way.

Impressive. Still looks like a model breaking instead of a ship breaking. Not enough splash when it hits, doesn't feel like it has some weight behind it.
For the movie I believe they used a 40ft long model for this shot for this reason, but this video does a great job of showing how the effect was accomplished and the same technique could be used on a larger scale. You could also easily supplement this as-is with VFX, something that wasn't really feasible in 1997.
I love it! Wonder if anyone can do the same with modern theories...
Considering the modern theory Is that it kinda sagged in half it would be harder to recreate in miniature but easier a little larger scale.
Waiting for the final results. :)

It is very good and awes9me since the replica of it needs falling debris and people falling
Sehr sehr schick
Thank you for sharing this great video! 👍👍👍

😊😀😱 amazing 🤩
Thats me!
Amazing
Hi pls work film titanic and this is a good video
Nice
One number shooting
I love it so much it is very cool and realistic
thanks, wait for the SFX ;)
Cool model!
Really brilliant I gotta say!
thanks :)
That's amazing work, and really impressive to watch. The only thing I think lets it down a bit is the movement of the funnels as they fall. In reality these were enormous and heavy structures that would have crumpled and smashed as they fell, rather than bouncing around :) Very difficult to reproduce at such small scale, but perhaps you could make them with very fragile internal framework and use a thin foil for the outer skin. Then if you place a lot of weight inside the funnels, they will bend and crumple as they fall?
Yes you are right, here I used only Trumpeter and KA genuine pieces
WOW 😲 TITANIC
Look at the size of that model! It's... what's the word I'm looking for...?
That thing is Titanic!
😇 The size of the Trumpeter 1:200 Titanic is more than 5" 😵💫
This is how James Cameron split was made it was a scale version of it exactly like this but it was bigger not huge but bigger than a human and they also did editing and adding cgi people making it look like it split in half also realistic
wwooow very nice work
2:39 that was awesome
Ahh this looks like fun. I want in too haha
How are your subscribers not 10 Million? This is mind blowing😮
Ahah maybe soon 😇
I'd try to recreate raise the titanic next lol :-D
😜
How amazing & cute 😍 💖
This is very good! I tried makeing this in a video I would not post to UA-cam. What I was useing was a small model of titanic, I was recording with my phone and the water was a clear purple container filled with water in the dark to make a night mood. It looked fine at night until when I watched it at day time, at day I could see a reflection in the water and almost all of the behind the scenes stuff. It wasn’t the best but it was ok.
wow that is cool
nah bro that's robert ballard titanic breakup theory
edit: the first break
Nice job! Look’s just like the movie!
Waoooou Walter 👍 titanic
I LOVE THE SPLIT THING
Me I'm obsessed

1:56 Roblox titanic be like
This is amazing
light camera action! 2:35
All that water going onto the floor 😅 looks amazing though!
It was a long work to dry it 😂
Wow Amazing!!!!!!!
One problem with James Cameron movie: Water wasn't in scale with the miniature Titanic ship. Water drops were way too big. That's a common problem with miniature ships and real water.
Like in the show tugs. One drop is huge on the boat
Yeah but didn’t they use a huge model for the break up tho?
The iceberg from his movie was how itnreally looked in real-life too..
The model in the break up scene was in scale 1 to 20. I honestly don't see the problems you see. They die it that big to avoid the typical scale problems with water and shit and it worked
*Increible!!!!*
Amazing how the ending when the ship breaks in half looks exactly how towards the acting of the titanic movie scene sets lol
Thanks ;)
Impressive! A slightly bigger scale model would make it look huge and heavy as it splashes the water. Or you can save some money and add some CGI water splash :)
Yes, if I do another video with the Titanic I’ll change few details !
The model could be placed maybe 1/4” lower, but otherwise it’s identical to the film.
Impressive! Keep up the amazing work you guys do. 👍
Very nice
I love it
Beau travail !!!
Merci :)
RMS Titanic Sinking
The funnels are kind of meh, you could put some plasticine as some sort of wires that would eventually cut, but overall good job, impressive!
YES
All that work and they didn’t digitally scale the water. Water is always 1/1 and a give away. Superb model though.
👏👏👏 I like it
Beautiful!!
Who wants titanic 3🚢⚓️🛳️⛴️
That ain’t coming out
it the good way it look but the funel look good
The last shot looked very similar to the movie great job!
Thanks, now we need a bigger model 😇
Could you make a step by step tutorial and simplified tutorial on how to make the ship split and sink? That would be great!
You can watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/Y7fA8Ha_wjE/v-deo.html
Nice Rolex ;)
😉compare with the actual James Cameron's watch...
C dommage que les cheminés tombent trop tôt et la 4ème a une chance de ne pas tomber mais sauf ça incroyable
