Himiway will be sending me a new ebike and they are confident the chain will not be rubbing on the new bike they send. I will upload a short form video showing the chain does not rub on the new bike they send me. (Link to video will be here when the new bike is received) Himiway told me this was an isolated incident caused by logistics and transportation and they have communicated with the logistics company and improved the packaging to prevent such problems from occurring in the future.
I live in the UK and have the Himiway Zebra. It not only doesn't activate the motor until you have been pedalling for at least 2 to 3 seconds, but also actively slows you down even whilst pedalling if you exceed 25mph. Also, the throttle does nothing at all. It does the equivalent of a 5 year old giving you a little push from a standstill until you roll at 2mph, then it cuts off. You wouldn't happen to know of any mods out there, would you?
Love your channel. Will you be testing new Himiway D7 upgraded Cobra? I just purchased it and I'm brand new to e-bikes and it seemed like it had all the right stuff. Also I am a big guy 6' 3" 295...
You need to check out the coswheel gt20, its a 1500w motorbike looking ebike should only be 1500usd 25ah battery, indicators hydraulic brakes and its just amazing i have one and it looks gorgeous
@@tomarthur564 max speed is 30mph couldnt get it higher myself it was stolen 4 days after it arrived(Christmas eve no less) so couldnt mess with the menu, after i got it but put it thru rigorous testing in those 4 days. But i recommend this bike everyday, especially since it was designed to be on to road. I will always miss that bike. I would get another ome but its so expensive in the uk right now due to coming from AliExpress

Rear shock seals blown! Lol You get shock pumps for 15 bucks, that will be fine for this bike! you have to increase the pressure by 20 psi increments move the back up and down 10 times to equalise the negative air chaimer, you will then need to set the sag normally to 25% innthe rear 30% in the front! Sag is your body weight stood over the bike, you will need to measure the stroke of the shoke eye to eye if it's not set correctly it can cause serious injury and or death! If it's to firm it will probably have volume spacers in it you can open it up add and remove to your rider weight, I ride the emtb with fox air suspension these are the best videos to get to know how to set rhe rear float up! Never use an electric pump or floor pump as the sealed will blow! Need any help give me a shout
For the price it should have at least a 1,000 watt motor or a dual battery. Also I can’t understand why they wouldn’t put a front fender on to help with road debris and puddle water flying up.
Yep, that's why I bought the Wallke H9. Low CG in the bike center. That and the 2 x 1000W motors, 40A controller, 60 + 22Ah batteries, and a 20% lower price make the Himiway C5 a quite poor value and performance proposition. One more thing... the chain doesn't come close to rubbing on the tire! 😏
I love these bikes and how they look, but they just sell them for outrageous amounts for the worst specs! You got a 21 amp controller in this bike 750 watt motor in a 20 amp battery, that's fine for an $800 bike but what they're asking it's freaking ridiculous! I've got a 1700 bigniu bgx 48 volt system 32 amp battery and a 40 amp controller! Not only is it the baddest looking e-bike out there it freaking moves over 40 mph and it's a chopper style you can't beat it it's got all the great things hydraulic brakes 4×5 street tires I just ordered a little moped looking bike for 890 I don't expect a lot from it it's a little beater but it's dual battery 30 amp hour hydraulic brakes that's all I need. This is a beautiful bike like most of them I'm just really getting sick of the outrageous prices for what you get is just not worth it IMO of course
@@nicklausgreggsen7407 That is how my bike was, I added a front motor, 40 amp controller and another battery, cruises at 35 now and has crazy torque, climbs any hill at 25-30 mph..I like to be able to keep up with traffic on those back roads in the forest..Every distracted driver that passes you is a real concern on a bike..
@@nicklausgreggsen7407 Citizen Cycle sells the whole kit, he has a UA-cam channel..The wheel with the motor, the 40 amp controller, and a Samsung battery, and wiring harness, it's all plug and play..
It seems china has the ability to make really good shit they just choose to go the cheap scammy route usually so it's definitely a gamble but not automatically garbage
I was excited about this bike when I first saw it but it doesn't make sense to me. It looks fast and looks like a dirt bike but it has street tires, thumb throttle, and isn't fast. I'd rather it look like a regular bike and act like a dirt bike. I don't want to "look illegal" with none of the benifits
I can get a nice 750 w that goes 28 to 30 mph the dude did a speed test on it not even a thousand only thing is it doesn't have a back shock and it's not the freego

Gasgas clone.. idk even know how a company can make a bike that doesnt do 40mph for 2k. Ecspecially over 2k! Im hoping 2024 is going to produce some serious contenders compared to Wired & Goat Bikes cuz they definitely set the standard in my opinion. I got my Motor Goat on the way i had the Billy Goat when it first was announced. Definitely gonna be hard to beat.

Looks to me like it's a bike that isn't fit for purpose. How can a manufacturer let a bike go out of the door with the chain rubbing the tyre, basics!🤦🤦🤦. So the bike only does 20mph and is on the more legal side, yet it looks like a motorcycle, that's another negative. I guess the chain issue could be rectified by taking it off seeing as though it can't really be pedaled anyway due to the low seat position.
This ebike by Himiway is especially dissapointing. I wonder why they are selling this as it brings down their brand. This ebike should have a 1500watt motor that peaks at a thousand watts over to achieve good performance.
@@paradoxworkshop4659 cupholder works great especially with the provided tumbler. To test it myself i filled it with water, put it on my c5 on my van’s bike rack and drove 300mi over rough roads and it was still there right where id left it. Theres a little spring clip thing to help hold the drink

Buyers still should be very careful if you do some searching with Himiway they have had many issues with quality on bikes previously.

Citizencycle had the c5 unlocked in his review yesterday he got 26-27 mph

The coswheel gt20s has a 60v 30ah battery but it's a china only bike a the moment.

The manufacturers need to move their batteries closer to the ground. Lower center of gravity for better handling.

it does, i have one. it'll do 28ish before the geared hub runs out of gusto and you run out of gear on your pedaling

Every company can make a bike go 40mph but most companies are trying to build e-bikes that conform to the class 1,2,3 requirements.
