That is so special to finish something you started & came to see it finished. I have a watercolor grid quilt that needs to get started & this inspires me to consider getting it completed.
Oh how wonderful! I have a partially quilted quilt that was pieced by a beloved cousin (same generation as my grandmother, though) who has since passed away. Once I get settled into my new home, I want to pull it out and finish quilting it. I'd love to see the results of the quilt your mom is finishing for you.
I started quilting 2 years ago and I have 3 quilt tops I haven’t finished yet…I figure I better finish before I have 5 years worth of unfinished projects😁
