You hope we learned something about the Crinoline? Are you kidding me? Ms. Reiner, I would like for you to know, that you have shown and taught Me a LOT, not only about what Crinoline is, but also, how to use it, what you can do with it and have even inspired me! I have never even heard of Crinoline. I'm looking forward with Much Anticipation to your next tutorial. Thank you so Very much for sharing your knowledge with us.
    Sincerely,
    Antoinette

Hi, how do you finish the raw edge of crin? Can you use an iron to seal it?

Listening to you I am wondering if you are German. If so from where in Germany. I was born in Solingen and grew up in Mannheim. Would love to make some wide brimmed hats but cant find patterns for it.

    Can crinoline be dyed?

    • @lindsaywhitehead8675

Hi Diana. Yes, but not practically. A synthetic dye like Rit Dyemore will colour it, but Polyester is very difficult to dye at home. You can get nice results for pastel colours, but vivid colours don't work with any dye I have tried.
