faye carter This product has glycerin in it and glycerin is excellent for moisture retention. With that being said It is great for people with curly hair in general because curly hair needs moisture. I can only speak for my hair but I do not see why it would not help anyone with curly hair. Everyone can have different results.

Stephanie Okay and we love to hear it! Also, on my journey to perfecting a wash and go I learned that my hair has to be saturated in a deep conditioner first (covered for 1 hour). Then after rinsing I drench it in water when applying products (it is best in the shower so the heat can penetrate, but if not done in the shower stay in the bathroom with the door closed so it still stays steamy. I have low porosity hair but my friends with high porosity hair said this technique helped them out as well). 😉❤️💕

Yes I tried it because it made sense to me based on how my hair look anyway. So i used it and was soooooo surprised at how it works to keep down frizz and kept it soft even after drying and my curls were poppin and not frizzy. And it's cheap!

It also works with world of curls as well, and to get crunch out of gels they also have a spray I texturing and do wash n gos and that combo always makes my hair pop, oh also shea moisture curl defining cream(the peach container) and gel is also a bomb combo

I had a jheri curl in high school (mid eighties) S Curl and Worlds of Curls were the only activator brands I used on my type 4 hair. I literally got a touch up 3 time a year only. Great product s.
How long have you been using this? I’m so late lol. I had just tried it for the first time in this video. Yeah, it made my hair feel clammy before putting the eco styler gel on top, that seemed to minimize the clammy feeling for me.
So pretty. I am glad it worked. Pleasantly surprised. I have relaxed hair but I could try braiding my hair with the curl gel to see what it does and then unraveling it. I like the look.
A'ight. I'm heading to the store tomorrow to buy this 😭 I just did a silk press on my hair and I'm already tired of it being straight. I need curls back in my life and this seems so much easier and less maintenance.
Girrrlll, I be feeling the same way when I straighten my hair 🤣🤣🤣. I be liking it for the first 2 days and then ai be like ughhh I miss my curls lol. interesting technique to go in with curl activator gel them go in with eco next day. I have never tried that because Eco doesn't play well with others if applied at the same time while wet. I am definitely going to try. Luster's S-Curl Texturizer Styling Gel make a bomb twist out. I do have another curl gel that I may try in the same two step process with eco to see if I get similar results.

Also side note to help with dryness make sure you deep condition your hair every week (conditioning hair masque, with two plastic bags on to lock in the heat and leave in for 1 hour 20-30 mins). Also apply ur products on soaking wet hair and in the shower (as the heat allows the products to penetrate your hair strands better) This did wonders for me in putting the moisture in my hair and keeping it in.😉

Your hair is beautiful! I loved the simplicity of your process. You didn’t smother it with conditioners and leave ins. Which is a bad habit that I have. I always dislike the stickiness of gels and glues that I use on my 4C hair that is much tighter than yours. I’d like to know if there was any feeling of a residue or a stickiness on your hair after it was dry?
Awww thank you so much for the sweet compliment. This was my first time trying this method so I honestly had no idea how it would turn out. As far as the residue is concerned YES... if you use the Lusters by itself you will feel the clammy feeling. When you apply the eco styler gel on top (or whatever gel you choose) it does help eliminate that clammy residue feeling. Also I made another video comparing this gel with another curl activator and I applied the eco styler on top immediately after without letting the Luster gel dry and my results were completely different. My curls were more of my normal curl pattern (tighter and not as elongated) and I could not feel any residue whatsoever. Thank YOU this was an OG staple yearrrssss ago i would use it to put my relaxed thick hair in a ponytail and it stayed moisturized and grew like weed to mid back length I’m natural now I have to revisit this and the green eco is Bae the only one my hair likes

I had a jheri curl in high school (mid eighties) S Curl and Worlds of Curls were the only activator brands I used on my type 4 hair. I literally got a touch up 3 time a year only. Great product s.

How long have you been using this? I’m so late lol. I had just tried it for the first time in this video. Yeah, it made my hair feel clammy before putting the eco styler gel on top, that seemed to minimize the clammy feeling for me.

A'ight. I'm heading to the store tomorrow to buy this 😭 I just did a silk press on my hair and I'm already tired of it being straight. I need curls back in my life and this seems so much easier and less maintenance.
Girrrlll, I be feeling the same way when I straighten my hair 🤣🤣🤣. I be liking it for the first 2 days and then ai be like ughhh I miss my curls lol. It definitely is easier (in our opinion) to just rock the curls instead of trying to keep it straight especially in the heat. Thanks so much for watching 🤗💕
interesting technique to go in with curl activator gel them go in with eco next day. I have never tried that because Eco doesn't play well with others if applied at the same time while wet. I am definitely going to try. Luster's S-Curl Texturizer Styling Gel make a bomb twist out. I do have another curl gel that I may try in the same two step process with eco to see if I get similar results.

Also side note to help with dryness make sure you deep condition your hair every week (conditioning hair masque, with two plastic bags on to lock in the heat and leave in for 1 hour 20-30 mins). Also apply ur products on soaking wet hair and in the shower (as the heat allows the products to penetrate your hair strands better)
This did wonders for me in putting the moisture in my hair and keeping it in.😉

That first year is the hardest because you have to do so much trial and error to see what works best with your hair. I remember those days lady so I know the struggle. Yessss, I was dumbfounded to say the least. This combo was for the wet look. If you want a tighter more defined curl I made another video comparing Lusters to Ampro and got different results. You can check that video out here ua-cam.com/video/TB_DQ__wRXM/v-deo.html. and see which way you prefer😉.
The product label reccomends use of Pink Oil Moisturizer after application of the S-Curl curl activator. Would you please try that combo?

Your hair is beautiful! I loved the simplicity of your process. You didn’t smother it with conditioners and leave ins. Which is a bad habit that I have. I always dislike the stickiness of gels and glues that I use on my 4C hair that is much tighter than yours. I’d like to know if there was any feeling of a residue or a stickiness on your hair after it was dry?
Awww thank you so much for the sweet compliment. This was my first time trying this method so I honestly had no idea how it would turn out. As far as the residue is concerned YES... if you use the Lusters by itself you will feel the clammy feeling. When you apply the eco styler gel on top (or whatever gel you choose) it does help eliminate that clammy residue feeling. Also I made another video comparing this gel with another curl activator and I applied the eco styler on top immediately after without letting the Luster gel dry and my results were completely different. My curls were more of my normal curl pattern (tighter and not as elongated) and I could not feel any residue whatsoever.
