Most important thing to take from this: read the OT and NT Bible chapters first, build your relationship with God before venturing into the books of Enoch and other books. I think as someone who needs to continue growing their faith and wants to go deeper into my relationship with Christ, I cannot read these books without doing the former first
I’ve read the old and New Testament for years and things didn’t add up until I read other books like Enoch. Furthermore all scripture are not inspired by God it’s virtually impossible. We know humans God knows humans. Ask yourself why did the scripture read don’t change anything in this book because men will add and take away. From the word of God. The only ones that will believe everything is God inspired in this book are those that don’t have a personal relationship with Him.they just know how to quote scripture but that as far as their knowledge of the Creator is. Trust me when I tell you it’s deeper than the words written in scripture. I didn’t know much until God change my life over 7 years ago and my life cannot be the same.
💯 truth right there- I had a revelation of that scripture when it says for “those who seek me find me when they seek me with their WHOLE heart” Jeremiah 29:13 13 (You will seek me and FIND me when you seek me with all your heart. Not that people don’t live God without reading the lost or “left out on purpose from MEN- not God again my opinion) and I think the books of Enoch, the book of Mary, even the book of Thomas and several of them that are not in what we have as the “Bible” nowadays doesn’t mean that these weren’t true writings God inspired or from someone’s personal journal the Holy Spirit inside each one of us says to test all spirits everyone’s truth, and the God, the Elohim, the Holy Spirit inside of you & I will bear witness as well &will give insight … just just my thoughts ✡️✝️🇺🇸🙏🏼🔥🌎🙌🏼🎄
Do you think you guys can pray for me? I've been having a rough couple of years. (Thank you for all the prayers! I have already felt my life changing these last few months, I am definitely getting closer to God!)
Father God I pray you give your child Maxy favor . I ask in your sons name Jesus Christ That Maxy is healthy in mind, body ,and soul. Amen. Sorry not sure if your women one man. Could have done better if I knew that info.
I was an atheist, I started a journey of studying the forgotten past. In my studies the book of Enoch was included. Everything I discovered lead me to realize we really did have a creator, Jesus is our heavenly father who really did die for our sins. So yes the book of Enoch should be read. It's truth and God is truth, the truth always leads to God.
God will use all things for good.... even the things that are not good... such as the false scripture - book of Enoch. Thank God you have come to Jesus though!
@@SheriMaass Enoch was real and was in GODs favor. This books is still in the Ethiopian holy bible. He was righteous in GODs eyes. GOD took him and showed him these things. People shouldn't read the book if they aren't ready for the truth .shalom
I downloaded it months ago but still havent read it. The fact that is not part of the Bible it doesnt mean that you should not read it, i dont like that argument because it makes me feel like they encourage you to be a blind christian: just obey and read what we want you to read, with never wanting to know other literature/perspective. Jesus teached us to be wise and learn, to not be lazy rather to cuestion everything, if he had never defied the jewish priest we wouldnt even have a Bible. @@Chefbridgettecolemanhannah
Well Yeshua is the Son of the Father. The Heavenly Father is still our Father. The Son is our High Priest in Heaven, who is our Mediator to the Father. The Son is the Word of God becoming flesh. We can see in Isaiah 48:12-16 that there is a GodHead and the Father sent the Son. Yeshua humbled Himself down to even call us brother and sisters.
God allowed for it to be removed for a reason, if he wanted us to read about it, he wasn't going to allow for it to be taken out. One thing about God- he is an intentional God. The bible is sufficient enough for me
With that logic .. there was a reason why it was found in the Dead Sea scrolls . god works mysteriously. he wouldn’t allowed it to be found if he didn’t want us to know. Also it fills in the humongous gap in the Bible that extends genesis and makes the flood make way more sense. hopefully you wake up soon sis
@@ThebellreveI lean into this way of thinking. I think it is an interesting read but does not impact my understanding, belief or love of Jesus or how I view my salvation. Random guys opinion: read your Bible first. Get comfortable enough with that then explore and study other historical books.
GOD gave humans free will. Included in that free will is eating forbidden fruit, mating with things we shouldn't, taking life that we can't give, and worst of all tampering with His Holy Word. The Bible shows that GOD doesn't stand by making each decision for us and humanity is far from GOD'S original plan, therefore our decisions are flawed and also the decisions of our governing bodies be it church or state. This is why our faith has countless denominations and factions, because it's hard to agree on what scripture should and shouldn't be followed. For example, The Old Testament is the basis for 3 totally different religions in one format or another and these are the three largest religions on the planet respectfully.
I understand what you're saying, but I feel your logic is flawed since the Ethiopian Bible includes Enoch. The Bible was not written in English, meaning man translated it , man could have also removed the book bc they thought it would harm the church, mainly the Catholic Church
Amen! It Is Written! KJV - Deuteronomy 29 : 29 “The SECRET things Belong unto THE LORD our GOD: but Those Things which are REVEALED Belong unto US and to OUR Children For Ever, that We May Do All the WORDS of This Law.”
Thanks brother, Daniel for clarifying. I’m not trying to sound legalistic, but in my opinion, when something is half truth. I tend to stay pretty far away from it. I love how you mentioned use discernment. Our enemy likes to use half truths all the time. God bless you and your ministry, brother! “Discernment is not the ability to tell the difference between right and wrong; rather, it is telling the difference between right and almost right.” -Charles Spurgeon
Define discernment.....most of you think that it is of an opinion of how you think about a certain subject. Discernment escapes many because they lack wisdom and knowledge of what it is. Discernment comes from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit would not stir you away from GODs word, but Satan would. The lost dead sea scrolls tell you things that you don't want to hear or believe, and your opinion of how you feel about that you use as "discernment" and shy away from the truth. Wake up.....this guy is a fake, and he is doing the work of Satan unaware or aware. Not one scholar said that the dead sea scrolls were fake or not true, as this guy suggests. He suggests that some of the things said by Saints about Enoch were true but dispell the truth of Enoch's words and prophesy through discernment. You can't pick and choose which words of God to listen to.
There is no reason why Noah would not have brought his ancestral writings with him on the arc. Jude & Jesus both accepted the Book of Enoch as scripture. Noah was very closely related to Enoch. Enoch walked with God on the earth for over 300 years. He was certainly given revelation during those walks. Wisdom would tell people to study the scriptures & trust the Holy Spirit for discernment rather than dismiss what may very well be the Word of God.
@@weluvcadewho says it wasn’t written by Enoch? Some Bible scholars? Were they there? Noah certainly could have safeguarded the book on the ark. Enoch makes amazing prophecies about the coming of the Son of Man and of his Kingdom. Maybe other people added to it over the years but I believe a great deal of it was God breathed. I find it fascinating.
He was a righteous in the eyes of Yahweh & was a leader over many kings! He was one of only 2 people that were taken up by Yahweh! I have done a study between the book of Enoch & the bible & it marries in well with what the bible explains. There is much wisdom that leads us to a better understanding of where we came from & where we are heading! Maranatha 🙏
You're so smart. I wish I was that smart. I pray for that kind of wisdom. I love to listen to you explain these things from out of the Bible to us. Sometimes I know it and sometimes I don't and I learn something new. God bless you and your family and Merry Christmas.
Just because it's not considered canon doesn't mean we can't benefit from reading and studying Enoch. If the apostles quote it in the bible, that's proof to me that it can compliment the scriptures. Does that make sense? I mean, it was a part of the scriptures in the beginning.
Just be careful, because things in this life are always trying to tear us away from the truth, the Bible tells us itself to question everything to find out what is good and to hold on to the truth that we first believed (that Jesus is God and things like that)
You are correct. We know the apostles read it (or they wouldn't have referenced it) so why is it so contentious now? Christians read all sorts of modern day commentaries about the Bible written by various authors. I consider The Book of Enoch to be another commentary--probably the oldest commentary--about the Bible. If reading modern commentaries isn't wrong, why are ancient commentaries wrong?
Dr. Michael Heiser, books Unseen Realm, Demons, Angeles, Reversing Mount Herman, Dr Michael Heiser is one of the Top Scholars in second temple Israelite Jews to do with the first book of Enoch and all of the rest of the texts from that time period and how it relates to the Jewish and Christian theology and its related placements of quotes found in the Bible in more then just Jude and why it matters to the understanding of the Bible. It will change the way you see everything with a proper biblical world view.
“Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.” - Heb 13:9 (NKJV)
That verse is talking about strange doctrines having to do with eating food sacrificed to idols. Not really applicable here. Also, 1 Enoch is inspiring scripture and doesn’t contradict the Bible at all.
@ElaynaTillMan16 But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, 1 Timothy 4 : 1
I had the same question. I asked God. He sent me a dream where I was standing infront of a book case full of books. Suddenly all the books burned out. Only the Bible reamained because it was hidden in a secret compartment. There was a nother book pages were burned on the sides. The meaning of the dream was that.... what I need now is in the Bible. That is what I need to consentrate on. To know about Enoch is ok but not so important.
You people and your dreams. You claim you only need to read the bible for truth but here you are sharing a dream that is only given to you. I rather read the book of Enoch included in the Ethiopian bible by the way than your foolish dreams.
@@REktSigMa Melchizedek has that possiblity since the Bible never mentioned his being taken up. The other two are very sure to be taken up. So lucky they are!
How do we reconcile that the Catholic church decided which books should and should not be in the Bible we have today? They did it for their own profit and view point.
@@taylormoore3121 I'm not sure what you are dealing with or your thought patterns. I never said anything against Catholics. The leaders of the Catholic church who assembled and decided which books/letters that are included the Bible we have today did it for the advancement of their empire. If there was a teaching/letter that did not agree with what they wanted, they did not include it. It's no different than the Pharisees who saw Jesus as a threat to their power at the time. The Catholic church also left it in Latin so the common person could not read and understand it. They had to go to church and have it explained to them. The commoner was left in the dark until King James came along.
@@rvwithbob Nice. Come at my thought patterns like I'm flawed in some way. Way to uphold the dignity of a human being and presume good. Catholicism is part of the Illuminati. As a former Catholic there is nothing good about the church because it is a man made system and is corrupt to the core.
I agree. I have read the book of Enoch and am glad I did. We know that people at the time of the apostles were reading it (hence why Jude quotes from it) so reading it gives some insight into what people of that time believed or were thinking. I do think that The Book of Watchers is probably an accurate view of how people then considered Gen 6. For me, it does fill in some details and actually clears up the flood story. I think the Book of Enoch was probably Hebrew oral tradition that somebody finally wrote down. That doesn't mean it should be canon and added to the Bible. Still by it giving some insight into how the people of that age thought, it allows me to have a little clearer understanding of the culture of the time. When I read the Bible, I try to drop modern thought and culture and do my best to fliter it through the lens of how men thought during the time when the books were being written. What did they think about the Spirit realm? Demons? The Fall? Ancient geography from a spiritual point of view? We can get insight into what they were thinking at the time the books of the Bible were written less tainted by modern ideas of these subjects. Therefore, I say read it. But that doesn't mean you have to believe it all (I don't believe it all--some of it I do). If it provides a context as to how the writers of the Bible thought about things, it is profitable to know. We should strive to understand the Bible through the same mind set as the writers did as much as possible. One thing is certain. The writers of the Bible had a very different view of the world (and the spiritual realm) than we do because looking at things through the modern lens we have today can create a distorted view. Many books and commentaries have been written about the Bible in our age. Christians often read them and discuss them. The Book of Enoch is no different. God will not be upset if you read it anymore than if you read a commentary written by a contemporary author. And if it provides insight and understanding of how the Bible writers thought, it serves as a valuable lesson. I'm Very glad I read it. It actually has provided me a deeper understanding of the Bible. It has not changed my mind about any salvation issue. Jesus is still King and He will still return.
John 1:1 KJV "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." The Holy Bible is the living Word of God(1 Peter 1:23), and it's the only way a person can truly be born-again(John 3:6-7). An adopted child of God being led by the Holy Spirit(Romans 8:14) will never seek revelation outside the Holy Bible(Jesus) because the Holy Spirit will only glorify the Word of God(John 16:13-14). God's Word is truth, and the Holy Spirit will sanctify a believer through scripture(John 17:17). If a Christian is not being led by the Spirit of Christ, then they do not belong to God(Romans 8:9). John 6:63 KJV "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."
Remember when Jesus said Mark 7:20-23> It doesn't matter what enters the body, but what comes out of the heart........If what you read enters your heart, then what comes out of as a result???
Everyone should agree on the path of salvation. It’s crystal clear. There’s only one way into heaven, through Jesus Christ. Every other point of scripture is negotiable. That’s how Satan gets people arguing and off the truth.
I absolutely agree as well as the correlations in revelations with appearance of the Son of Man. I am so tired of people just saying it not biblical rather actually getting to the nitty gritty of the verses🤦🏼 But I guess that’s just me 😂
One thing that turned me off the book of Enoch immediately was when it says that an angel ('Phanuel') "who is in charge of repentance and hope of those who will inherit eternal life". Just this heresy alone is more than enough for me to disregard this book.
@@peregrino9154 Howdy. Well, I know what you mean but the wording here seems a lot stronger than simply sending messages. This book is saying 'Phanuel' (an angel who doesn't appear anywhere in the Bible) is 'in charge of repentance'. However, 1 Timothy 2:5 states "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus".
I am not even a scholar, found that out when i was in the Biblical College in Saint John Vianney. Went through the Internet and read the Book of Enoch and went the Bible and these for Books do match up in every detail of The Lord our God's words. I did a lot of studying when i was in College.
… Pondering thoughts “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased” and pondering (John 8:32) “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Perhaps a prophecy in that we are living in a time where truth is being exposed massively - tie in perhaps from Daniel “knowledge shall be increased”
Since Enoch was the grandfather if Noah, why isn't it possible that it survived the flood on the ark with Noah and his family. Enoch's writings would have been passed down through the family and protected.
It’s 66 different books…. And from Enoch to the second temple period, Enoch was read as inspired scripture. Did you know there’s at least 32 books mentioned in the Bible as scripture, that aren’t in the Bible?
Short answer...Yes...the book of Enoch never contradicts the Bible and provide interesting details. Read also the book of Jasher to understand why some books were hidden for so long...God bless ❤
@@Gearhead2008Yeehaw All 85 books of the Bible were written by one "spirit". That spirit entered a different flesh each time. That spirit is the LORD's "scribe" so to speak. I have a testimony about that book. Last year i went to Turkey on vacation, took with me 2 books to read, one was Darwin's mistake and the other one was The book of enoch, that i already started to read. I was doubtfull about that book and wasnt sure about if i could read and see it as part of the Bible, so i asked the Lord to let me know in any way about that book.. if it was good or not. I carried them in my bag, once onboard and before we took off my wife gave me her water bottle that was 3/4 full. Put the bottle in my bag and put the bag under the seat. During the flight i took my bag out to drink some water and take a candy, but, it was almost empty, so i was like,, oh no, the books. Well,, the enoch book was soaking wet and the other book was dry, no water touched it. i checked the bottle, the cap was tight and no holes, nothing. I have not open the book to read it since then.
I got the same answer when I prayed about purchasing a Bible with no books left out- I have a few (all KJV), but wanted to find a "complete" one to study as well. I love to learn and research, so I am naturally always asking questions. I prayed and got the answer, "I have given you MY word." That's all I needed to hear. I didn't make that purchase.
A notification popped up on my phone from a UA-cam channel about a banned book in the Bible and the secrets behind it. I was curious, so I listened. It was about the Book of Jubilees, but I didn’t understand much of what the narrator was saying. All I remember are words like constellations, cosmos, demonology (I think), angelology, and something about how angels were created. I felt sleepy and decided to go to bed with questions in my mind: is this true? Why was it removed? In my sleep, I had a dream where I felt a strong conviction that the Bible is true and complete. In the dream, I knew of three books that are claimed to be banned, but I was strongly convinced they were not from God. I felt they were impostors, meant to deceive people and lead them away from God. When I woke up, I was amazed that God seemed to answer my question through a dream. Later, I turned on my phone and saw a video about the Book of Enoch by a vlogger named Daniel. I watched it, read through the comments, and found two testimonies from others who also felt God had revealed to them not to read the Book of Enoch. And that were the the 2 of you.
Moses, Daniel, Peter, Jude, Paul….and yes even Christ all spoke from the book of 1 Enoch. You have to remember…. It was once a part of the biblical texts long ago before thr catholic counsel of Laodicia in 364 ad removed it. Scripture tells us not to add to or take away. And what the counsel did when they removed 1 Enoch out of the bible. If Christ Himself called it scripture when calling it such in Matthew 22:29-30. Thats where our Mashiach was speaking from. God gave charge to Israel to bring His Word to the world….NOT the catholic church( of whom decided to start removing books; and so did martin luther as well). When putting all of 1 Enoch thru the biblical filter…not a single part of it contradicts what we know as the KJV 1611. I say 1611 bc the kjv of today is not the complete kjv that king james actually authorized for martin luther removed 14 books from the original kjv 1611. Again, God gave charge to Israel to know and teach His statues and laws etc….not the catholic church. So be blessed everyone.

@@metal42 Im not that concerned if Noah had subcontractors as part of the job. That was a huge job and still took 100 years! As far as the fallen Watcher leader, all the hidden things that were forbidden to mankind he taught, and is ultimately responsible for that part because he originated the fornication pact in order to have children and rule the earth.
@@metal42 there is not any scripture in our 66 books that contradicts that angels didnt help Noah. They could have helped him by showing him where to get the wood or how to prepare the pitch etc etc… we cant assume others either way. And in regards to the azazel comment…. Leviticus 16:8,10 for example shows us that upon azazel/ scapegoat has been placed all of the sin of Israel. What the book of 1 Enoch shows is the literal/ spiritual event that took place concerning azazel that the Lord shows Israel to do symbolic to what happened spiritually in Leviticus. God didnt tell Enoch that all sin came from azazel, God told Enoch that all sin was to be inscribed upon azazel; just like He told Israel to do by placing all of the sin of Israel on the scapegoat aka azazel. Look up azazel in the Strong’s dictionary which shows azazel and scapegoat are used interchangeably. Hope this helps. Be blessed 😇
@@Talmidiym8463 the book doesn't say they helped Noah, it says they built it. Noah alone was given that task, but God in Enoch is telling Noah that the Angels are preparing it. Hebrews praises Noah for obedience and faith of preparing that. The verse clearly says that the whole world has been corrupted through Azazel, and that through Azazel ascribe all sin. The book of Enoch also says more contradictory things, here are some of them: -The book says that God will pick the holy and righteous from Hell (Enoch 51:1-1) - In the Book of Enoch, the Angels give information about the sun and moon riding in a Chariot (Greek mythology) to Enoch. -the Book of Enoch says that when Noah opened his eyes, he lighted the whole house like the sun, causing his father lamech to be afraid of him, and Methuselah says Noah is unlike Man, and resembles the sons of God. Then Lamech tells Methuselah to go to Enoch and ask about Noah, we then see that Methuselah went to the ends of the earth to meet Enoch. Yet this is impossible because God took away Enoch and he was not found (Hebrews 11:5). Enoch was taken 69 Years before Noah was Born. Yet Noah has more than once interacted with Enoch. Also Enoch informs Noah about the flood, yet in Genesis God is the one who told Noah about the flood, declaring it like Noah is hearing it for the first time. -The book of Enoch says that fallen angels gave mount herman it's name before the flood, yet this is not true in the Bible, in the Bible post flood, the mountain was known as Sirion and Shenir, but baal worshippers changed the name to herman, based of off their idol baal herman. -The book of Enoch says human women who married fallen angels and gave birth to 4,500 foot giants (ten times the size of Noah's ark) were transformed into sirens. Sirens are half bird half human creatures that come from the Greek mythology, yet the book is supposedly written pre flood. Somehow.
I love this channel. I just wanted to share how I feel about this topic. What we know is that 1st century apostles had an authoritative record of enoch's accounts. We also know that Genesis does not go into very much detail at all about someone who was righteous enough to be raptured that long ago. So why didn't moses include more on it? Probably because they arleady had some account from enoch. We also know that only the the version of enoch that is in the ethiopian Canon is the oldest we have because that was translated and copied way before dead sea scrolls were found. I think that catholics and jews both decided to dis credit the books after the events of Jesus life happened because the book of enoch very blatantly confirms the deity of Jesus Christ. The end times prophecies go right along with other old testimant and new testimant prophecies of the end times. I'm not saying that every word in it is 100% accurate, but it definitely seems to go along with scripture for the most part. Parts that I can't verify with scripture or don't go along with it, I just don't take to heart.
Enoch is the Father of Methuselah who was Noah's grandfather. We also due in fact have preflood literature. The Chinese have history written that far back as do the Sumerians.

MY KING On Zion, my holy mountain.” 7 Let me proclaim the decree of Jehovah; He said to me: “You are my son; Today I have become your father. - - Peter and John praying to Jehovah quoting Psalm2 calling Jesus his holy servant while praying: Acts 4: On hearing this, they raised their voices with one accord to God and said: “Sovereign Lord, you are the One who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the things in them 26 The kings of the earth took their stand and the rulers gathered together as one against Jehovah and against HIS ANOINTED ONE [Jesus].’ 27 For truly both Herod and Pontius Pilate with men of the nations and with peoples of Israel were gathered together in this city against YOUR HOLY SERVANT JESUS, whom YOU ANOINTED,

If I understand him, Daniel M. says that Jude quotes from the book of Enoch. But he doesn’t. Jude himself says he is quoting from the actual Enoch, - “the 7th from Adam.” As Daniel himself says, the book of Enoch was written much later and not by Enoch himself. Somehow, perhaps through oral history - which is how much of history was taught and recorded - Jude has the actual words of Enoch, the 7th from Adam.

So, I believe The book of Enoch should be part of it. Also, what if it is Satan himself doesn't want people to know about this? After all, it is the history of Nephilim and fallen angels. But what is important we focus on Jesus Christ our God! God bless you!❤ thank you for the video.
The book of enoch is what saved me too !!!!!! Omg !!!! It made it all make sense. It answered so many questions I had that the church wouldn't delve into
The bible is about the Lord Jesus from cover to cover. Enoch is not but, it does reveal and is in complete accord with what the bible has in it. Remember God took Enoch. That says something.
@jaybrown989 Yes, you are right, I learned a lot of things in regards to the book of Enoch. And I saw some contradictions with the bible. I guess God uses the book of Enoch for me to be closer to Him and lead me to read the bible. God's work in our lives is hard to comprehend sometimes. But He worked it out somehow for me to fully come back to Him and give my life to Him. But I am still wondering as to why they have to put the book of Enoch in the dead sea scroll and preserve it? Somehow, maybe it holds some importance to it. We will never know, only our Lord will reveal it for us, in the coming age.

What was the motive behind discarding these books?.What about the other books that were discarded which we do not know.?These questions absolutely need some deep clarification.
Because some books don’t align with scripture teachings. I can’t say much about Enoch, just got interested in it now, but with a quick research i already found comparisons with scriptures that are contradictory. I’m still looking into it to be sure, but it made me take a step back. These are the main reasons some books are not part of the canon, when they don’t align with the overall teaching of scripture
Around time stamp 7:00 you made the statement there was no literature before the flood. So how could The book of Enoch been written? Therefore does that mean we cannot trust what is written from Adam and Eve up to the flood? The Old testament is filled with stories up to that time, so why is Enoch so bad?
My thought is, if Enoch did not write the book, it doesn't make sense to me that Jude would be quoting from the book, attributing the writing to Enoch. I believe it is more likely that Jude was referring to oral traditions passed on from the time of Enoch rather than from the Book of Enoch itself. Especially considering the fact that Enoch had been translated by God to heaven, his words and prophesies would carry a lot of weight and make them worthy of being passed on from generation to generation. The writer of the Book of Enoch would be fully aware of these oral traditions and include many of them in the book. We trust the testimony of historians in secular writings, as their accounts are all we have to go on since we weren't there to witness past events. So while the Book of Enoch may contain a lot of historical truth, that does not mean that it was inspired by God in the same manner that actual Scripture was.
I had the same thought. Oral tradition is massively important and it’s something people forget happened during this time. Enoch’s prophesies would have been common knowledge and anyone writing after his time ( which is when all the books of enoch were written) would have that knowledge to make the book more credible.
Believers should read the Complete Bible , not just half parts and certain translations which make up about half the Bible or less in General... How are you going to believe in God and his principals when your Bible is Incomplete?
Don’t believe it’s incomplete in any way. Gods word was written perfectly. If God almighty had wanted that book in the Bible then it would be there but it’s not.
What about Jasher? I guess you don't like it either. Samuel and Joshua referenced it. You can't simply discard it. Joshua and Samuel know more about this than you or me
Sorry, I'll trust Old T heroes instead of you. You seem very close minded to truth. Be careful of reading the Bible with pre-conceived ideas some preacher told you in the past. They are wrong many times.@@vasyl.petrun
It’s not the same jasher. The jasher we have today was proven to be a fraud, the guy who wrote it in the 1800s got arrested for it. It’s not the true jasher. The book of Enoch, Jubilees, and others are totally real and inspired tho.
Remember, the truth is the truth no matter what. Absolutely read Enoch and the Dead Sea Scrolls too.....above all writings the writings in your heart is EVERYTHING.
I used to question what it really means to be able to write God's words while in the Spirit. Until recently. I recently started praying for God to use me to give messages to my friends and family, especially in writing Christmas cards. I find myself writing a message without thinking about what I was going to write beforehand. Very specific messages. I don't know that everything I've written is directly from God, but I know that some is because of the responses from the recipients. Words that clearly went straight to their hearts. I'm not that eloquent and in some cases had no idea what to say. I thank God for using me to show His love to those I care about. I'm honored and humbled.

Enoch like his father Cain are fictional character. Enoch can be spelled as Henoch/Hanock/Hanok/Hanak. Enoch is is actually Ha (the) Koch. The same fictional character is a son of Reuben (personifies Aquarius). He is also the Latin Janus.
The Christians should read the book of Enoch because the book of James does quote it, not only the book of Enoch, there are many other missing books in the Holy scriptures, which, when you find, should read as all these book are quoted in the present books, after Romans hidden the Holy scriptures they translated, omitting some other books as they were perceived irrelevant in their obscure faith
@metal42 whether he quoted from pagans or saints the verse says all the Word is inspired by God and Paul didn't see the scripture as from pagans because he was led by the Holy Spirit, which spirit is leading you? If the book says engels built the ark it is correct, there are things which we do but realize it was humanely impossible, God sent His engels for that intervention, sin came from azazel because he taught sons of men to be witches, enchantments ,fortune telling ,falling from the Holy Spirit and following foreign spirits, lastly the whole Word is Spirit and revelation if you read it like a novel you will miss,, be in Spirit it will make sense
@@siyabongadlamini7852 The Bible says Noah built the Ark and that all sin is from Adam. Somehow.
When you are committed to serving God, you can expand your knowledge. It might only confuse others. I love hearing and reading Enoch. He is my Biblical hero.
Well said. Same story with the apocrypha: Tobias teaches lessons that contradict God’s prohibition on witchcraft. There’s a video on Chicktracts that actually does a pretty good job breaking down why Tobias (and other apocryphal books) aren’t scripture.
You can’t just label every book not in the Bible as apocryphal. 1 Enoch is in the Dead Sea scrolls, was never in an apocrypha. And should be read, studied, and used as scripture. Tobit has nothing to do with this, and is in a complete seperate category.
You are free to reread my comment until you understand that what you said was incorrect. @@Brotherfromcalvary If after the third time you still don’t get it… the answer is simple: ~>I didn’t say Enoch was part of the Apocrypha. You thought that I did, but I didn’t say that. However, my comment points out that it is in the same category of _not being Scripture,_ and in the same category of being uninspired text. Many people would use pseudonyms to write false gospels, like the so-called gospel of James which is a gnostic forgery. Enoch wasn’t written by Enoch any more than the Book of Abraham was written by Abraham - Spoiler, it wasn’t, and it records egyptian spells! Totally antibiblical! ~> The point is that neither is part of the canon of scripture, not Enoch and not the Apocrypha, because they aren’t teaching what Scripture teaches. 1 John is a good epistle to read, especially chapter 2 and chapter 4, and it’s worth considering that God grants discernment to recognize when He is speaking, and when He is not speaking. “My sheep hear my voice” and the Holy Spirit is the “Spirit of Truth”. Lots of Christians have been granted the discernment to recognize that the book of “Enoch” isn’t God-breathed, because God’s voice isn’t in it, and so it isn’t Scripture, and so it isn’t authoritative. Indeed, the Epistles warn against disputes over genealogies and tell us that we aren’t supposed to be consumed by jewish fables. But that’s like… what Enoch is. (I’ve read i.)
I’m unsure about it. Although the details seems fascinating, I have found explanations with many contradictions with the Bible and it makes me take a step back from it
@@johnwehunt4305they referenced Enoch, not the Book of Enoch. Enoch lived before the flood, he didn’t write a book. Enoch isn’t even inspired text and it contradicts the Bible. It’s just ancient Jewish mythology literature.
The Book of Enoch is not made up and is to founded. What is the oldest Bible on the planet.? Codex is the oldest copy of the Bible we can find. The Eastern Orthodox Christian religion has it in their Bible. Also the Orthodox are the first Christians of Christianity. All of the Book of Enoch is their first bible. It unfortunate that the farther Christian religion goes north and west from its origin , the more the Bible is changed. Allowing other previous pagan and western countries to translate and transform scripture to be diluted from the truth! Not to worry my faith is strong with the Holy Spirit. Thanks for your decernment. The book Is an excellent book of how sin came about, where the soul is created and will go when it dies and that God is Holy Holy Holy. The fallen ones are demons now. Yes it was a long time ago but God seen Enoch as person whom minded God and remained righteous. Something all Christians should look up to Enoch as being a man of God. Just like the VERY FIRST actual Christians did and do today!!!!!!!!!
I'm an Enoch lover too. But, you use the word "planet" and we live on a Flat Earth under a Dome. Have you not read Enoch 89 & 93?... an much more. Enoch (PROPHET)
Wrong the four great uncial codices that you wrongly refered to are the text of the Greek Septuigant. Enoch was never apart of any of the four or ANY Bible thereafter.
Again, as you said, Jude quoted from Enoch. How can you discard it. Matthew 22: 29-30. What scripture was Jesus referring? Paul's writings were not written yet. The 4 gospels weren't written yet. What scripture was Jesus referring to? It is in the book of Enoch.
Answer is: Yes, the Ethiopian one. The Slavonic and Hebrew one aren't the true books. Only the Ethiopian one has evidence to show it is the oldest written one 300 years before christ and has directly quoted pieces of scripture which support its writing and we've found the fragments to match in two temple destructions.
Not much sure about it. I am curious about the book, but there are two points for me that keeps me back Too much unnecessary information about demons and fallen angels (why would God would want us to know so much about them? , doesn’t add up 2- I’ve done some research and there are things that are contradictory to the Bible. I am always hesitant about this because God allowed it to be removed from the Bible for a reason. We don’t know why. Just pray about it and wait on God first. We should be putting our deep curiosity and excitement for the book of Enoch into our Bible’s.
It was removed by humans who have free will, by that same logic you are in line with the belief God wanted children to be molested by leaders of our churches and other travesties committed by them for years as well as the hidden knowledge under the Vatican. Open your mind and heart to God and live by his teachings not the humans who have perverted them to their own personal gain.
Thank you, Daniel, so much for explaining this. I had no idea and I too wondered for quite some time. Your explanations are always very straight to the point and clear.
And yet he is wrong. Jesus himself quotes from the Book of Enoch and calls it scripture. Matthew 22:29. ua-cam.com/video/04sFT4-xK30/v-deo.html Many other connections and many other questions are answered by the Book f Enoch. it is scripture and it explains itself beautifully right at the beginning, as to why this book was concealed for so long and found only in the last days. I also do not believe in the Trinity. Never have believed in that three headed dragon. It's a Catholic lie. Would you condemn me for that? Godspeed!
@@Faithdced no he didn't he simply said that since it's a book of the apocrypha that it's not entirely true. He also said there was no written records during the time of Enoch but yet you have to ask who wrote the book of Genesis???
Well looks like we have someone who can think independently. Yes he did. What he says is “The Prophets” BUT he’ll ignore Jude saying literally as Enoch PROPHESIED. Enoch originally was written by Enoch BUT what we have today is copied form handed down. The scriptures the apostles had was the Tanakh
It's not possible, because Moses' writings are the first divinely inspired set of writings. The ppl who argue that the Enoch book should be considered authoritative don't even seem to believe the Bible they claim to believe in. There were not divinely inspired writings before God called Moses up to the top of Sinai to begin writing down the Law. That's why _it_ is the backbone of the entire bible.
@@mrsock3598 The "Enoch" that Jude mention is not the Enoch from Genesis. Look at the genealogy. He clearly wasn't the 7th from Adam. @@theeternalsbeliever1779 - According to the Genealogy in my Bible, Enoch is indeed the 7th from Adam: 1-Adam → 2-Seth (Gen 5:3) → 3-Enos (Gen 5:6) → 4-Cainan (Gen 5:9) → 5-Mahalaleel (Gen 5:12) → 6-Jared (Gen 5:16) → 7-Enoch (Gen 5:19) How did you come to the conclusion that the "Adam" referenced by Jude is the Messiah, the 7th from Himself?

The book of Enoch is of God and any true Christian who had read the whole Bible and has the Holy Spirit will know that. Nothing in it contradicts the bible It only strengthens the bible I wonder if the author of this video has read the whole of the book of Enoch
Those who don't accept that the books in the bible and the book of Enoch both talk about a flat enclosed earth with no solar system, will say ignore the book of Enoch. Enoch walked with God and God called him his friend. He was taught about creation by God and his angles. Enoch wrote many books. God took him he never died. So basically if you believe in the solar system and space then you will never believe the book of Enoch.

The book is legitimate in a way. It was one popularly circulated in the first century. It’s just we don’t know whether it is inspired by the Holy Spirit.
@ Technically the Book of Enoch was widely circulated in the first century AD and likely first century BC. Peter and Jude refer to it. ….though the Ethiopian version likely added some scriptures. It’s just anything written in the preceding 2 centuries from the New Testament weren’t to be included as canon (by either Jewish or Christians) due to popular understanding that they lived in the age where no new revelation from God occurred. And since it isn’t a Christian scripture, it wouldn’t also be included as part of the New Testament. It is though likely the first appearance of a fiery place called Hell. Sheol was thought of very differently.
We know as Christians Dad when that little boy found the Dead Sea scrolls and a cave and he crawled in there and found Old pottery and inside these Old pottery was scriptures of the Lord's word especially Isaiah that match perfectly of the old 66 books of the Torah Hebrew Bible. Included in the Dead Sea scrolls was The book of Enoch but that book had some good Bible teachings but also had a lot of false teachings a false myths and gods. I believe that God created his word to keep it safe and preserve it because God is perfect and I don't think God will make any failures...✍️✝️❤️🇺🇸
YESSSS!!! ... Just because 'Men' labeled it as non cannon doesn't mean that much can't be learned from it - what about the Apocrypha writings that were Removed from the Revised KJV, but were in the 1611 KJV?? The apostle Paul, mentions Enoch in the "Faith Hall Of Fame" and Peter & Jude both quote from Enoch ..... Personally, i'd say that, Reading Enoch or listening to it on audio, there's so much information in it that gives greater details & insight, especially details concerning Gen. chapter 6 'The Flood'. ... It gives more meaning to Mat 24, when Jesus says "Just as it was in the Days Of Noah, so shall it be when I return" - you'll see those same things happening on the earth [hidden knowledge that the fallen taught people: Gene Editing & such, about the Nephilim; how they will play a part in End Time deceptions/ aliens and the increase in UAP, etc.] . Reading Enoch(or listening to it on audio) gives insight into what was going on "In The Days Of Noah" - as well as about demons & cosmology .... I think there is much to be learned from and understood from the writings of Enoch.
If Jesus and Jude hadn’t quoted from it, I wouldn’t have bothered to read it but since they did, I read it and found it filled in lots of gaps, and strengthened my understanding of the Bible

Most important thing to take from this: read the OT and NT Bible chapters first, build your relationship with God before venturing into the books of Enoch and other books. I think as someone who needs to continue growing their faith and wants to go deeper into my relationship with Christ, I cannot read these books without doing the former first

😂 It's TRUE HISTORY
💯 truth right there-
I had a revelation of that scripture when it says for “those who seek me find me when they seek me with their WHOLE heart” Jeremiah 29:13 13 (You will seek me and FIND me when you seek me with all your heart.
Not that people don’t live God without reading the lost or “left out on purpose from MEN- not God again my opinion)
and I think the books of Enoch, the book of Mary, even the book of Thomas and several of them that are not in what we have as the “Bible” nowadays doesn’t mean that these weren’t true writings God inspired or from someone’s personal journal the Holy Spirit inside each one of us says to test all spirits everyone’s truth, and the God, the Elohim, the Holy Spirit inside of you & I will bear witness as well &will give insight … just just my thoughts ✡️✝️🇺🇸🙏🏼🔥🌎🙌🏼🎄

Random guys opinion: read your Bible first. Get comfortable enough with that then explore and study other historical books.
Don’t get caught up in that book remember what god said I give you free will to believe what you want to believe

Discernment escapes many because they lack wisdom and knowledge of what it is. Discernment comes from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit would not stir you away from GODs word, but Satan would.

@@taylormoore3121 I'm not sure what you are dealing with or your thought patterns. I never said anything against Catholics. The leaders of the Catholic church who assembled and decided which books/letters that are included the Bible we have today did it for the advancement of their empire.
John 1:1 KJV
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
The Holy Bible is the living Word of God(1 Peter 1:23), and it's the only way a person can truly be born-again(John 3:6-7).
John 6:63 KJV
"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

Everyone should agree on the path of salvation. It’s crystal clear. There’s only one way into heaven, through Jesus Christ. Every other point of scripture is negotiable. That’s how Satan gets people arguing and off the truth.
The fact that Jude calls Enoch’s words ‘prophecy’ shows that Jude himself believed that Enoch’s words were from God.

I have a testimony about that book.
Last year i went to Turkey on vacation, took with me 2 books to read,
one was Darwin's mistake and the other one was The book of enoch, that i already started to read.
I was doubtfull about that book and wasnt sure about if i could read and see it as part of the Bible,
so i asked the Lord to let me know in any way about that book.. if it was good or not.

The book of Enoch also says more contradictory things, here are some of them:
-The book says that God will pick the holy and righteous from Hell (Enoch 51:1-1)
- In the Book of Enoch, the Angels give information about the sun and moon riding in a Chariot (Greek mythology) to Enoch.

Against Jehovah [The Father] and against HIS ANOINTED ONE [Jesus].
3 They say: “Let us tear off their shackles
And throw off their ropes!”
4 The One enthroned in the heavens will laugh;
Jehovah will scoff at them.
5 At that time he will speak to them in his anger
And terrify them in his burning anger,

If the book of Enoch is not in the Bible, then God did not intend for it to be there, so why try to plug it? If you’re a Christian, you should know the God you serve.

Somehow, maybe it holds some importance to it. We will never know, only our Lord will reveal it for us, in the coming age.

The Book Enoch was studied by the Disciples. A lot of the writing are in the Old Testament and New Testament. I am an Israelite and NOT a Christian because Yeshua was not a Christian. This book is very important and let no one deceive you. This is an important book of God. 2 Tim 3:15-16. ALL SCRIPTURE. This book has given me light in many ways. This Book was written in the Spirit of God and that why God allowed us to find it. Only the true people of God will fully understand this book. This book has been a TRUE blessing to me. God Bless.
What was the motive behind discarding these books?.What about the other books that were discarded which we do not know.?These questions absolutely need some deep clarification.

Your T say found God. God has never been lost my Brother, we are🎼
Around time stamp 7:00 you made the statement there was no literature before the flood.
Great vid, very helpful!!!

Paul quoted from Pagans
The book of Enoch says Angels built the ark and all sin came from azazel
Somehow.
When you are committed to serving God, you can expand your knowledge. It might only confuse others. I love hearing and reading Enoch. He is my Biblical hero.
Thank you my brother in Christ, for breaking this down perfectly.Makes perfect sense, the way you explained it.
@@Brotherfromcalvary If after the third time you still don’t get it… the answer is simple:
~>I didn’t say Enoch was part of the Apocrypha.
Enoch gave details of what happened before the global flood and why it happened.
I’m unsure about it. Although the details seems fascinating, I have found explanations with many contradictions with the Bible and it makes me take a step back from it
@@MatthewVideoProduction The apostles and even Christ referenced Enoch.

The Ethiopian Bible still contains the Book of Enoch.

Yes, I agree Enoch is from God, so much truth. Christian’s should be reading it.
It's not possible, because Moses' writings are the first divinely inspired set of writings. There were not divinely inspired writings before God called Moses up to the top of Sinai to begin writing down the Law. That's why _it_ is the backbone of the entire bible.

The Ethopian Bible considers the book of Enoch to be legitimate
Ethiopians held on to all three books in had parts of King Solomon's Ring. Only the Jews and Augustine Catholics did not like the books. Funny to say the bible we have today is true...since before we read 80 books not 66....most seminaries will teach people to "stay within the boundaries of the business church"
The book is legitimate in a way. It was one popularly circulated in the first century. It’s just we don’t know whether it is inspired by the Holy Spirit.
It's not in the Jewish books which predate the Bible.
If you read 1 Enoch, I'd also recommend reading Dr. Heiser's materials that discuss the book.
YESSSS!!!
What a man if God DLM is. He brings the true word of God.
