    Drill a hole in the yoke and put in a grease fitting so you can grease that pivot point. It will last longer than the penetrating oil. They make grease fittings in both threaded and press fit. I did that with a 6’ blade of mine and it worked very well.
    Just make sure you drill through just the yoke. It usually has just enough “slop” that you can do it without drilling through both pieces of pipe.

    When backing up you may want to extend your top link out so the tines aren't pointing into the ground. Great find!

    They aren’t a very heavy implement so 6 foot rake should be a piece of cake 👍

    I have a 1025r and prefer the box blade over a rake. It seems the rake doesn't work very well but that was a great find.

    8:41 I like how you turned it around and went backwards with the rake. It looked to me like going backwards did a better job.

    Nice find, I've been eyeing a rake. It looks like I have somewhat similar wooded areas to yours. Any complaints with the rake? I need something to clean up sticks/branches before pulverizing.

    Didn't look like you were in 4 wheel drive at the beginning, but I see later on you were in 4 wheel.. To get the rake to work a little better, looses the top link so that when you lower the implement it lands "more straight up and down" perpendicular to the earth.

    I've often wondered if these were any good. Thank you sir, i can see their okay. I wouldn't mind having one i just can't justify paying $500.00 bucks for something i would not have any use for. Maybe oneday i can make a find like tou did. Thank you

    Great deal you got there . I think it does a better job turned around and backing up . Yes you can even use it on the driveway . Just clean it up a bit next spring some green paint and it will look brand new . I think you might need to get more storage shelving . LOL

    I have a landscaping rake and keep it on my tractor 90 percent of the time and it is nice, but you do have to stop often and remove limbs and brush which get caught in the rake. They have to be lubed regularly also to keep them from not turning into the correct position too. You paid too much probably, but it seem to work for you and not breaking any tines.

    I just bought a 5 foot Rake for a sub compact tractor by "County Line" from Tractor Supply I have a John Deere 2025R Tractor. Is the rake supposed to be level or does it matter?

    • @ataleofthreecabins1025
      @ataleofthreecabins1025 4 роки тому +2

      You would want it level by adjusting your bottom link most of the time. Unless you have some serious terrain issues or your trying to change the pitch of your area.

      @@ataleofthreecabins1025 I did some more digging and discovered it's part of the backhoe package. For Cameras I mostly use my iPhone 10, sometimes on a gimbal using the Filmic pro app. I'll use my air pods for a wireless mic, they sometimes get distorted, but it is quick and easy. I have a Mavic pro drone shots. Occasionally I use a second camera for B roll. I mostly edit with imovie. For narrations I've been using the blue snowflake mic. Have a good Christmas!
