Man you had me cracking up like a little kid when you did the testing between the two haha!! I enjoyed that way too much hahaha. I wonder if your neighbors saw that!
At first I thought I bought this cam out of impulse but seeing you guys (+Mark Bennett) do some contents about it just made me super happy with this purchase 😂 I'm hooked with your vids as well🤣 really cool!💚
That’s awesome! I like this one a little more than I expected to. When I saw they left out that new AI chip I figured it would just be a spec bump from the original, because that thing in the zve1 made it SO unbelievably good at sticking focus. But I guess this new processor is so solid it does almost the same thing.
@@NicholasJamesJohnson Definitely, my main concern is, I'm not seeing anything in the description of being able to film in 4k 30fps. it's usually the sweet spot for me.
I had the “auto wine prevention” setting on, so you’ll notice it goes in and out of being super tinny and then sounding somewhat normal, and that’s when there’s a gust of wind that it’s algorithming out of the recording. I think I’ll stick with using dedicated microphones

@@ArmchairFinance very nice! A fine set up for a really nice looking picture. What lens do you have on the camera? What’s the aperture number, starts with an “f”
@@ArmchairFinance oh beautiful! Then start with that light at about 85%, as close to your head as you can get while being out of frame. If it’s too bright, you can go to 1/60 shutter speed and it’ll still look natural.
In my country Zve10 mark ii and Canon R7 body is coming about at the same price. Apart from lens availability, which one will you suggest as a hybrid camera, with priority on video?
@@nayefwasit8960 I don’t know Canon cameras very well but looking at the spec sheet, they don’t look like comparable bodies. The R7 has sensor stabilization+ The R7 has a viewfinder+ The R7 has a mechanical shutter+ The R7 has a higher resolution sensor+ So if you are comfortable with canons, it seems to be an objectively better camera with more capability. All of my other cameras are Sony so I have a lens collection which would make me choose the ZVE10ii
@@blakekircher3852 that’s really a budget choice. There’s no denying the ZV-E1 is a better camera. And it has IBIS which is handy for anything hand held. But lenses for full frame cameras cost way more. And as you can see if you put this video in 4k on full screen, this camera can produce essentially perfect quality video. So if you have no budget restraint, I’d go with the ZVE1. But the ZVE10ii is also excellent and on a tripod the quality is equal.
@@BFETile indoors I have had no problems. You DO need to change a setting which allows higher heat before showing the warning but with that set I have had the camera on, on set, and charging (which adds even more heat) with the display on for multiple hours with no overheating. @@NicholasJamesJohnson I am deciding between one FX30 or two ZV-E10 II for podcast and talking head. Which one would you go with. Promise last question..smile
@@BFETile If you’re not going to be shooting handheld video very often or ever, the FX30 wont actually be any different from the ZVE10ii. They have the same sensor and processor so the picture from a tripod will be identical. So I would get two zve10ii’s for sure. The only other real advantage is the built in fan for the fx30; but again, if you’re usually shooting indoors then you wouldn’t need that either. And two cameras can make a WAY more interesting shot than one!
Yes it was, and you can hear it doing interesting things, like when it gets all tinny for a bit there was a huge gust of wind but you can hear the wind at all… pretty good.
sorry for blowing up your comment section…. but if i’m going to be using a camera solely for green screen work… like a mrs rachel type of content…and it will always be on a tripod in a well lite environment, is it worth getting the mark ii because the original zv-10 is such a bargain now
Yeah, I’d say it’s worth getting the newer one.. The original is four years old.. The bigger battery, the better menus and software features, even the more convenient sd card slot together make this just a better camera and this one will receive support and firmware upgrades a lot longer than the other one. OH and the HAVC-HS format for video files means you’ll save tons of hard drive space over time
