Now THIS is what I'm looking for from you, Manny. This is your wheelhouse. This harkens me back to the halcyon days. I'm so happy you have done a list, where you tell us what YOU like and why YOU like it. You are the fragrance expert. I want to hear what YOU think. Not an observation about what other people - who are not experts - are wearing. Great seasonal list. Suggestions: Lists for moods. Lists for occasions. It doesn't need to be a list of 10. Dedicated reviews are fine too. What about all your friends named Lily? I think there are several of them. Bring them back too. 😄
I really love Le Labo’s Another 13 a few hours after it dries down. There’s something very sharpe smelling in the initial sprays that lasts about 2 hours and isn’t pleasing to my nose. I spray my robe in the morning. When I come home in the evening, it smells like a musky dream. It’s worth making it work!
A few I'm looking forward to wear this spring: Dior - Eau Sauvage Cologne Arabian Oud - Kashmir Ramon Monegal - La Isla Blanca (EDT) Rosendo Mateu - #6 Gucci - Nobile
Girlfriend picked up Wulong Cha for me on Valentine's and Terre d'Hermes for my birthday at the end of last year, will definitely be rocking both this spring.
Your catch phrase "wear your fragrances" rings in my ears every time I pick out a SOTD, and ignore my dozens of 120ml Creeds because replacement cost is so high.... lol. Add AdP Colonia Club, and of course the Legend GIT to this list.
Here's 5 fragrances I am looking forward to wearing this spring: BDK Gris Charnel Extrait, Initio Paragon, Bond No. 9 Bleecker Street, Ormonde Jayne Montabaco Intensivo and Amouage Reflection Man. Btw, Bleecker and Reflection are but two of the fragrances I bought because of you. Have a great weekend, Manny!
Everytime i wear Another 13 at work or anywhere..people were compelled to approach me and ask my perfume..they ended up buying like 5 of my colleague at work bought them..im like what? did i the right thing to share it to them..this is used to be my signature scent at work..im trying to find a scent now to replace it..what do u recommend that in the same league as Another 13..Manny?
$325 for 75ml is a huge ask. But I've heard so many good things about Bois des Iles. Also, I get why we call it grey market but it gives off kinda illegal or sketchy vibes. Isn't jst an example of capitalism in the same way Ebay is? But iI get it, it's just an easy reference to say quickly!
Gray market sources and their prices are essentially the average of what people are willing to pay for each scent. And these sources only exist because official dealers can't move the product at a fast enough clip retail price-wise. But then some brands like Chanel also maintain their "prestige" by either hanging onto their product and/or destroying it, rather than liquidate it to the gray market. So sometimes if you really want a Chanel, you just have to bite the bullet. :P
@@CascadeScents Manny, I tried the exclusifs for the first time this past week and Bois des Illes unfortunately just wasn’t for me. I don’t really like my sandalwood too powdery and creamy. Sycomore is absolutely gorgeous but can’t bite the bullet. Fortunately, I guess… I don’t think Chanel is much of my aesthetic when it comes to French perfumery. Not to say I don’t enjoy some deftness and class, but I think I prefer other French styles that are more pushing the boundaries a bit more. Also, my thing about the grey market is just like a perception thing. The naming feels off. In the same way that we wouldn’t call a third party brick and mortar perfume shop grey market because you can negotiate prices with them and get an Amouage for cheaper yk? But neither here nor there. It’s just a semantic thing I was bringing up.
@@aarond9563 Sycomore is THE Les Exclusif de Chanel that most of today's consumers gravitate to if any, yeah! Otherwise they lean too "classic" for most, but it's okay for not everything to be for everyone. =] Also, gray market isn't terminology to denigrate legit dealers with authentic product. It's simply a differentiator. Check the watch industry/community for example; most third party dealers who backdoor product on the daily will openly call themselves gray market. That and their consumers will also call them gray market. Also, Lisa's and Maximum Fragrance in Canada are two of the biggest third party web stores in my country. Each of which also have well known brick and mortar shops. Worldwide-wise, US-based FragranceNet has both a web store and brick and mortar locations. And all of those guys who run those sites don't scoff at being called gray market. So again, among more enthusiastic luxury goods circles, gray market is merely a differentiator. A more accurate differentiator too because things don't always discount; like a Rolex GMT-Master II or MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 that gets marked up nowadays. Hope that clarifies things. =]
@@CascadeScents It does clarify, thanks! Seeing that black market means illegal or sketchy at least, if I were new to the community I would deduce that grey market means something similar or one step cleaner. But the watch example is helpful to know. I wasn't aware that they refer to themselves that way.
Great video. I love another 13. I agree, i definitely wear 3-4 sprays of it on my chest, back, and behind the ears as well.
Thank you so much! A13 FTW! =]

Interesting! I don't find the opening to be divisive, but it definitely becomes more intoxicating as time goes on.
I feel like it's not a Manny vid without Kyoto. 😆 Ahhh the good 'ol days. Props on Wulong Cha. Spring is definitely the time to wear it. 👌
Kyoto FTW! My bottle has seen better days. :P

Wear those 120s anyway! They won't improve with age after all. :P
Thank you for the ongoing support as always! =]
I'm most excited to wear Cuir Cannage on rainy spring days. Royal mayfair and Scandal parfum cologn as well
Excellent scents! =]
+1 for Royal Mayfair, one of my favorites as well
Royal water is highly underrated and one of my favorites for the house of creed.
Royal Water FTW! =]

Thank you so much, Chris! That's an ice blue Citizen Tsuyosa. =]
You should check out the brand ilmin. My cousin(pro footy player) uses one and it’s a huge compliment getter.
Holy Manny..... thinned right out!
Still working on it! :P
Two thumbs way up for Kyoto! I feel like there's not much on YT about it. Let's keep it under the radar haha

A13 is still the most addicting as far as that type of intoxicating musk. I'll have to get back to you though! =]
Whay it do Manny? "THUMBS UP"🥊🔔
Deon, what it do? Thanks for stopping by! =]
I’d say check out Daniel Josier Ambre Tobac
Thanks for suggesting! =]
I find a striking similarity between Nishane Wulong Cha and Chanel Edition Blanche.
Interesting! Wulong Cha is so green and humid feeling in comparison for me.
Haven't seen man in a while, man back innit
I'm back, bruv. Yes! =]
Wassup Bruh SOTD Scent of Peace for him by Bond #9 “wear your fragrances”😂,,,
Lovely scent! Always wear your fragrances. :P

Don't really think from years of owning it le labo another 13 is just for what ya get from a scent its friggin WAY overpriced
Not a fan of Royal Water. I even have the vintage bottle..
It isn't for everyone, yeah!
