Honesty the ‘there is no canon’ thing is better than an actual canon. It kinda gives me alternative universes vibes and that’s exactly what the SCP foudation is, anything but normal. And because it’s easier for authors to write about dimensional monsters without following a canon.
It allows writers to focus on their own story without having to worry about "096 can take care of them" or similar.

With the advent of AI and it's surprisingly fast advancement into the mainstream, how long until SCP-079 and other AI computer type SCPs stop being anomalous?
Like, in 10 years is someone going to read 079 and think "this just seems like a normal computer. Although, it is a jerk".
The key there is that it’s not how advanced they are that’s anomalous, it’s the hardware. 079’s hardware SHOULDNT be advanced enough or have enough space to house an ai.

I have a fun idea for an scp, a Euclid class mouse creature who when threatened can send out a fog from its skin. This fog has properties where if breathed in for an extended period of time kills the creature infected by the fig, then taking their conscious and placing it within a rat corpse, becoming a version of it's-self that shares the same properties as it, these versions are copies of it called SCP 174829-1 or a higher up number. the original SCP referred to as SCP 174829 or foggy mouse. Their containment procedure is a large metal room with air filtering and a few items for it so it doesn't send out fog during the middle of the day.

Looks: its lower body is seen but the top is a amazon box flipped upside down so its a frown and some how whatever is inside can see without eye holes the scp wears clothing that's modern like sometimes it wears pajamas and crocs other times a t shirt and checker vans
Behavior:it is a nice scp that likes interacting with staff and sometimes it will ask for oreos but be warned if you don't give him any or if you aggravate him he will steal a gun from foundation security and start a class d rebblion and mobile task force Nu-7(I think its the MTF with miniguns and tanks)will need to be called in site and during mass containment breaches (like the one that happens in site 19)it will fight against staff and be aggressive and during this stage the only way to stop it is to shoot it so much it gives out to the pain and just kinda falls on the floor and you have to pick him up. But during other attcking stages just give him oreos or taze the hell out of him
