There are segments cut out of this version. I prefer the other version where there are short segments in German, but show everything. For instance, when did Stanley learn that his "mother" worked in a diner? It just goes to the part where he hands her a cheque for her loan without any previous mention of where she worked. And, when did Milly have her op and get out of hospital? These episodes aren't available in the other version though, which is a pity.

It's an awful accent, isn't it. It was her natural accent though.
