    Large bodies of water, might get into fishing or sea trade routes. Enabling shipbuilding, fishery, docks. etc.

      Not every region can have the sea, but maybe a river fishing or lake in the middle or something.

      @@axefield i had the same bug, simply demolish it and rebuild it :D that worked wonders for me, now both carts produce Food and Firewood every morning :)

    Goats don't make sense. Anything that gives hides should also give meat. They should yield milk instead and there should be a cheese maker plot upgrade. Also, pigs should be added and a smokehouse. And cows would be nice for another pasture animal option. The artisan options like fletcher and cobbler need to have more than one product they can produce since the market floods quickly like adding boots as well as shoes to the cobbler and short bows to the fletcher. Also, if you pause your artisan houses, the inhabitants should go back to the work force.

      I agree that we definately need at least meat also from goats... it would be great to stop workshops if you wanted to!

      @@axefield You can pause workshops, but the families in them just do nothing. This doesn't make sense at all. In a medieval village, everyone would contribute. So, if you are a cobbler and no one needs your shoes atm, you would likely go pitch in somewhere else to earn your keep.

      Depends - in a rural village, yes, but they'd be unlikely to have much more than rudimentary smithing or such to begin with, as real artisans would coalesce in towns and be organised in guilds. They would also certainly not sully themselves with field work, being of burger standing. In a rural setting, most households would tend to their own needs in cooperation with the village, but there'd be no surplus production aside from what the local lord, the king and the church would take as taxation/tithe. This is reflected quite well in the low needs of lvl 1 burgage plots. Artisans being unavailable for other work reflects the class relations of medieval society - if you want artisans, you have to treat them according to their social standing

      with 60 million $ in sales probably after state tax and steam tax 30 mil - i think he can afford a team. No matter what he sold he should have small team to continue the project. The game has so much potential.

      He doesn't have a team. Throughout development hes had contractual work done by friends/freelances. As far as I know he wants a team but is being very careful since good people in this industry are hard to come by. He is still solo rn with the odd bit of help.

    A monthly work planner on certain buildings, such as farms, that would free the workforce during non productive times of the year.

    Being able to stop production in artisian building is a must for me, automation of farming so they don’t do it so stupidly inefficient when left to their own, and I want cavalierly units, as well as more animals, like pigs for meat, cows for milk, milk for cheese something like that

    Herbs do have a use but it is very rare. Before I understood how things worked I ran out of firewood during winter. A bunch of people stopped being available to work, instead you had a rotating line in the circle where you assign them much like if you place people before you have them. They were slowly returning when I added the herbs to the foragers hut. After that they recovered quickly.

      Yeah I noticed some guys sick and not working also. Once I had herbs I stopped seeing it (or they werent out long enough for me to catch it).

    I don’t know about anyone else but I think a small crime and town watch system. I’m pretty sure there’s already a crime system in the works but having your retinue patrol the town and stand guard while not called up instead of sitting around in the manor

      Would be really cool actually, have a guardhouse and whatnot, i would also like to see actual small castles for your main town for example

      Small towns in Medieval times didn't have police no need, they had a reeve to with occasional crimes , only major cities had crime problems

    Actually i think herbs are supposed to prevent diseases when your settlers are cold/homeless but i havent tried that out yet

    Do you think we will get to see other lords towns and raid them. Really want to be able to do like huge castle raids and defends instead of just fighting little camps. I want CPU to also build a town kinda like the old stronghold games had if anyone ever played those.

    You must have just made your video before Slavic put up the vote on what will be worked on next:
    - AI cities
    - Castle and sieges
    - late game content
    - other map types
    Also the wooden parts item I believe will be used for Siege weapons.

    My ideas on priorities for Greg the dev;
    -adding river trading.
    -adding salt making
    -adding pigs.
    -compost
    -more fruit trees
    -adding monastaries and a library system + town administration.
    -finishing dev point system.
    -bugfixing on troop related stuff.
    -add a keep structure.
    -guards.
    -diplomacy system.
    -warhorses + elite riders.

    After adding certain things for the villages/citys, a system for creating an army should then be added, and a militia for its own region, so you have an army to conquer foreign regions and a militia that would protect its own city/village on every region

    Entertainment buildings (Music and theaters). Growth rate increase from natural births. More diverse agricultural products. Castles for home territory and forts for campaigns for a defense bonus. Rivers and bodies of water. Smallpox. Universities. Brothels.

    Tier 4 housing will be the most interesting thing to see, bacause the tier 3 houses are really really huge, maybe it could just get a little bit dense, so that there would be another house in the back of the prre-exsiting house as well as there will be more variety of houses, love it ❤

      I think it will be about the same size, but it will be a solid stone structure. I saw some pictures when Manor Lords was still deep in development😄

    Larger maps with Island, Archipelago, Mountains, Swarms, etc would be great. More city structures such as stone walls, castles, moats, drawbridges, etc. And most importantly a multiplayer mode with coop/head to head would be amazing. These are all significant updates but with the money they are getting they should really look to expand the game rather than keep it small and niche because sooner or later people will get bored of it.

    wooden parts looks like that can help with -- mechanical stuffs like, siege gears, mechanical bridges for lets say manor/castle main gate bridge etc, or crossbow, etc

    A simple fix for all of the problems with reassigning people to jobs and the chaos that creates as a city grows would be if you could simply lock someone to a job. Looking forward to many updates!

    Imo the biggest thing needed right now is for us to be able to set up an auto rotation for jobs that kicks in with harvesting/planting times. As far as I can tell, it's in your interest to get as many folk on your farms as possible as soon as they can plant, and as soon as they can harvest in September. It's tedious asf to have to go around my big town and find every tiny job-spot so I can find spare hands for the fields. What I think we need is a Rimworld-like job orderer. I've seen a Rimworld mod that lets you switch between work schedules with like two clicks. We need that in Manor lords. Tbf even a rough "just work the damn farms above everything else" button might work fine

      On top of this one, I think we need a drop down to help managing work flow. Similar to the one in farthest frontier where you can pull up a tab of your workforce and quickly shift workers around instead of having to manually go to each and every building.

    To be honest, Manor Lords just made me want play more Farthest Frontiers, atm FF has much more to offer, but let's see how ML will be cooked up

    Prior to playing MLs I spent a bit of time playing Farthest Frontier. FF recently introduced cavalry and they have a number of the anticipated elements you mentioned. I also believe FFs live trade screen would be worth considering in MLs. FFs best feature IMO. I also wouldn't be surprised if siege engines were introduced in MLs. So much to look forward to as early access develops.

    Also would be cool to go inside your houses, tavern, castle etc. customize and build the inside of your castle at least… have scouts that can go search and be stealthy… I like the ability to talk to other lords and stuff I know more is coming for that. Upgrade walls wood, stone, metal.. siege weapons and ladders to get over walls you have to protect. Maybe a library for research to unlock different things…

      You should maybe join Manor Lords Discord😊 They are talking about a lot of ideas going forward and there are many things that they are going to work on which you also mentioned. It might be awhile still before we get these things. The game has really got great potential😄

    I feel like a great feature that a moder might be able to accomplish is the addition of sending your retinue/ Knights to tournaments to make more income and improve their experience

      @@Lolatyou332 Archers will get updated till they have the right balance so. And combat and unit controling is not micro heavy. So it's only a extra weapon type to add for units and. it will make you think before you take a archer with you. When they are pached and stronger then it's a good balance so you can't always just archer your way to battles!..

    There should be the ability to get your animals where you want them to go.. I had two stock at the animal trader and the only way they could be used is if someone was working there… you should be able to click on an animal and then click on the post or area of farm field you would like them to go (then someone will bring them there) also there needs to be barracks… I love that the people fight for the city, but to have a barracks to build your actual army would be cool. Also the ability to upgrade weapons and armor.. like you only make weak weapons and armor but the more you upgrade your kingdom and smithy the better your stuff is… also would be cool to be able to go into third person and actually fight like an RPG and upgrade your guys stats… I played a game called kingdom under fire for x box years and years ago that had that ability and it was awesome. I think a barracks that you can train (upgrade) or recruit more fighters would be cool. I think depending on the person they have different traits that would make them better at archery or hand to hand combat. Barracks would be cool to have your keepers or whatever run the weapons there and have a storage limit that you need to upgrade as well. Castle walls would be cool too. I think this game has so much potential and I really enjoy it! Just some wishes I think would be cool.

      To go off this I think having ax fighters sword fighters, cavalry etc should all be based off the stats of the people. Generals would be nice too.. someone to help you fight and control your army.. the ability to upgrade arrows like fire arrows or poison arrows that you can extract from snakes… maybe have skill trees for your army too… make the maps bigger for more to conquer. The ability to add armor to your horses.

    What about the fact that my rival baron has 12 units in his last region and I can only muster up 6 militia? Cant hire mercs bc im late game. Anybody have this issue?

      When you build additional towns in neighboring regions, it will give you the ability to have more battalions and retinues. Also, mercenaries contribute a lot to army size

    Current agriculture and livestock management commands should be much more intuitive. Nowadays, we have to demolish buildings to make sheep go to graze on fallow cultivated lands (wtf??) and the AI in general, sometimes I have a building that is one hammer blow away from being completed, but nobody comes to do it after too much time. Ideally, it would not be necessary to fast forward so much time when playing the game, apart from other things, but it still needs a good polish, although in general it is very good so far, it reminds me of what would be a modern version of Settlers III

      There are many things that needs to be refined and that frustrate me also... But it is heading in the right direction. Constant polishing and added content can make this game one of a kind😊

      That is something that is in discussion now😊 they plan to add siege weapons so that definately mean that ai cities will be there

    I’d like to see bigger maps with more regions tbh
    Perhaps more ai aswell that can challenge the lord… Perhaps prebuilt towns with lower tier manors 🤔

    I hope the development points get reworked. Because as it is, they are really hard to achieve and some are really important. The economy route is important otherwise, you need to sell a lot just to buy one RAW material

    what is stopping this guy from taking his massive profits and moving on from this game? there is still so much that needs to be done and fixed. It's safe to assume that new content will take a very long time since it's only one guy if he even does decide to keep working on it.

      @@axefield that is good to know. I really didn't know much about this game at all until about a week or so ago. I'm really enjoying it but was just a little worried about it only being one person. I imagine it would be tempting to cash in and move on with life but I'd be a fool to underestimate the potential of an individuals determination. Thanks for some clarification.

    3rd person combat system using in game already troop animations
    More themed maps may come later
    And thanks to Mods that have already taken fire 🔥 on mod sites

    The made archers really weak in the release version. Hopefully they fix it. They are useless. I had 2 archer units shooting at 1 archer unit. They killed 1 guy in like 10 volleys. That's pretty weak. Hopefully it gets fixed I don't use archers at all.

    Game is boring for somone who is familiar with city builders, lacks depth, interaction with AI doesn't exist, combat is very stupid nad economy doesn't make sense. I get that it is early access and I think that this can become a very good game if Greg gonna stay on his course with huge money injection that he got after release, but I just think that this game doesn't deserve such good reviews and is complety overhyped which I expected so I am not dissapointed.
