Ayo inky, there is a new update, with a new starbase that can only be obtained in explorations, it's called rotten starbase, it has the drone and missile camouflage and a repair bot, but has 20% less armor and is riddled with holes in it's slots(which you can repair in the scientist). You can get it like any other blueprint-type exploration nodes, by having the rotten starbase as a node you must gather instead of fight unlike other exploration starbase. And also a new weapon which you can see on the ai jormugandr, its like a virus weapon that sticks to your ship and continuously damage it until destroyed in one hit, very very annoying as it will only stop when destroyed, and it seems to be growing in size when it damage ships. And graphics change, more realistic space background which is very very beautiful, starbase models more detailed and realistic which is also very good, and better text font and overall cleaner UI.
More info, the new weapon he mentioned is called the "Parasite Spawner" which is a special type weapon (S), and it comes with two parts - The smaller counterpart of the weapon and the bigger parasite spawner. Basically, all It does is to reach out to the enemy like a missile (btw It could be stopped by point defense system) and then when it attaches, it deals a great DPS (damage per second) and also slows down the enemy ship so your other weapons can easily reach out to the enemy. And any other ships that has this weapon, could be tarantula and oblivion (?) The only bad thing is that the projectile speed is very slow.
Hey, inky, here's a new thing I figured out I should tell u and for other viewers - Acid weapons (e.g. acid torpedo) ignores RES, so nonetheless of the RES, they still do decent damage. Since this is most used in arena, highly reccomend hit point builds. - the new modules in the recent patch is dropped too, on recent levels. They only have low chance. - moth ship is acquired somewhere in level 40-80 exploration missions. - raptor ship is earned somewhere in 72-500+ exploration missions. When u see built in systems and stuff on your ships or starbases, u need to add the things that specialise in it. E.g., Velez and starbase MK2 has +250% shield poikt in built in system, meaning that u can put shield generators as specialty. - joumagandr has a hit and run tactics. Usually in levels, when your ships have many drone escortsz missiles, etc. The joumagandr behaves like an airstriker and bombards your starbase, runs away and then come back to finish it off. - RES is mostly necessary with many hit points, so if u balance your hit points, RES and shield points, this is a hybrid starbase. If u add relaoders, rangemaster units and high energy focus, this starbase is untouchable, you can even include repair rate with bionic armour - The largest type of interceptor drone which is the only type only houses 1 drone😂 if u house everyone with the harbour, it has significantly less drones than normal drones, but interceptor drones are most powerful because they have the most hit points and does most damage. - This has something to do with the fact that interceptor drone is a frigate called "WISTLE" The whistle frigate can also be acquired for your use too, in exploration missions. U can fully control the frigrate. Dronecamafouge and Missilecamafouge is very useful because :- Drones ignore you Missiles ignore you - you should avoid trying to use drone builds on ships not designed to carry drones. Such as, - All starbases cannot house drones. Just focus on hit points, RES, etc. This is because adding buffs to the drones is a waste of green slots. # instead, focus on supporting your starbase weapons such as, reloaders, rangemasters, high energy focus. I highly suggest HLC for PVE, and Stalker missile for PVP. EMPs can be used for both. - Only use drones on ships such as :- Harbour Thor Joumagandr Of course, if Pavel adds a starbase that specializes on drones, I'd definetely use it.
How can you survive explorations? I have the 100 respawns on my covid, but I think it's bugged, the clones somehow becomes absent for the rest of the exploration for some reason, after you respawn, you can't spawn new clones, butyou won't see the old clones either. Leaving you alone in the exploration where hundreds of drones and ships and lots of capital ships at a time.
For Elaboration, He used both repair rate and vampiric ray at the same time for fast repair Also using bionic armour can help. If u put all the weapons on the same activation slot, My strategy for u for healing :- Respawn 100x and Omni slots 0.5% repair rate and 10% less armour Vampiric ray and 2 repair ray's with pulsar Infinity stone Put some bionic armour N then Res too. It's optional☺️
Based on the EHF wiki, that drone is - AI only. # They are found in double veteran alien outposts, daily mission (insane) # They are found in double-veteran dreadnoughts. # They are also found randomly in exploration missions as an independent ship.

It is fixed now! , the mercenaries can also heal the star base and the player which is neat if you dont have repair bot early game
