Beautiful! We have some real singing talent in Wales. Pity that our fantastic singers are not more well known universally..

Why isn't Elin Fflur more widely known? She's excellent and together they are just fantastic.

Rhys Meirion also deserves to be more well known - he has such a smooth voice!

Because they sing in Welsh. Europe's oldest and possibly most perfectly phonetic language, unknown in most countries, because the useless Welsh Government doesn't promote our language or culture in Europe. Everybody there wants to sing in English: just listen to the Eurovision Song Contest crap.

@@ioriedwards7554 - I guess you're right but even as a non-Welsh speaking Englishman, I love a lot of Welsh songs, especially hymns though not religious either ! If you're a Welsh speaker could you possibly point me in the direction of a translation of this Huw Chiswell song? ua-cam.com/video/q31iDNVGHZU/v-deo.html Cheers.

I agree, I'm Lucky enough to have all of her albums and you wouldn't believe how high the standard is, and she writes a lot of her own songs, very talented indeed

The male singer sings in Italian? It's like a coraboration of Italian and Welsh singers...
