It's December, of one of the most challenging years - if not the most challenging - that many of us have ever experienced. The majority of the year has been spent in considerable isolation, with uncertainty and confusion all around.
Instead of being tossed around, may we be reminded, that Jesus promises to never leave nor forsake us. He's good, no matter what. This leads us to put our trust in him alone, time and time again.
As we prepare for Christmas, the annual reminder that Jesus loved us so much that he came to rescue us! Jesus, "Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness." (Philippians 2:6-7)
Take a few moments to worship him today and declare this truth:
"I will not fear, God, You are with me
I know You're near, You'll never leave me
I will trust in You alone
When I'm broken into silence, I can hear You whispering
"You're not alone here in these trials, I will hold you faithfully"

My mom and I got Covid in in mid August. I was home in total isolation while my mom was in the hospital. I was able to speak to her for the first week but then she had complications and after fighting for 18 days, my mom passed away. We all thought she was going to make it. She loved the Lord dearly and was a faithful servant but my heart is still
crushed. This song brings me hope to go on. 🙌🏻♥️😢
