And given that the absolute technical limit for air diving is 55m if you are mental, it would still be fine at this depth .
I have the orange and I LOVE IT! PERIOD! It runs great and keeps great time. Its different than anything else I've seen. I'm enjoying the hell out of it. The insignia on mine is perfectly aligned. The lume is really nice.

I like mine. Almost black dial with orange induces. Bracelet is poor but functional. Crown should be bigger. Keeps great time I must say 3 seconds fast a day. Going to buy a large leather watch band for it since my bracelet clasp springbar keeps popping out, making the factory one useless. I don't want to lose it. The berny am339m I bought with is a fantastic watch.
the watch is actually quite cute. i think you have to have an open mind to see that.
It's ridiculous and I love it. I can't imagine when I would wear it now but if I was 15 years old again I'd be sporting one in home room Monday morning. Cheers!
For a massive chunk of a diver only 100m? Weird. It's almost good though, in so many ways. If the made it in bronze, had bronze bars guarding the sapphire crystal. Swap the logo to the crown. Add a helium ecape valve the other side. Rebrand it as 'V2 Muff Diver'. I'd buy one and try it out in the depths!🎉
I actually own some of Renatos original designs from quite a few years back they do have high quality parts and swiss movements and I do believe that Renato watches went out of business or was sold to different a company Some of their original models were as much as 3000$ Thanks for sharing as always my friend and Be well

Seen this case or very similar on a Renato watch, which was a copy of an earlier Oceanaut

They would idiots not to send you more watches. It’s not as if you’ve crapped on all of them. It’s “unique” for sure. And you think you’re disappointed for it being only 100 meters rated? I probably wouldn’t do the dishes wearing it judging from some of the tests I’ve seen. Entertaining and informative as usual.

I don't think Berny will cut you off after this review, in fact I think it's more likely the watch gets revised, dropped from their product line or simply sold in a more favorable market like India or Malaysia.
Just got my Helmets in. I like them. I just wanted the black face but ordered the yellow face by mistake. So, I got 2 for only $97.00 USD each. I like the looks. Still have two $ 25 cheap LIGE mechanicals in green incoming. One is a gift... be interesting. THAT WILL BE # 12 WATCHES 2023 ADDED TO MY RATHER LARGE 71 YR LIFETIME COLLECTION OF WATCHES. . pd THE BERNY emblem engraving IS OPPOSITE THE SIDE of the stem YOU METIONED. IVE GOT a few 1000m dive watches that are more massive than this. PS I have 8 inch wrists. The band reminds me of my 1980 Explorer 2. Perfect fit and I do not need to pull links. Very satisfied.

I always like a cyclops, especially one that's been drinking! Underrated feature. It does add to the over-designed vibe of this, though 😅

Hey, to each his own! It'd be a boring hobby if we all only liked the same watches. There's definitely something in it as it's not the first time a company have used this design, so it must have some appeal.

Honestly...is anyone going to use the 100 meters of resistance? Most will only take a shower or put it in the pool, why do you want 200 meters? Professional divers use real pocket computers to monitor their dives, not these types of watches.
I think the watch gives a lot for its price.

I saw the Hodinkee video where Mayer interviews that hobbit bloke, and they said 37mm is the perfect size, and considering 98,7% of watch enthusiasts are disciples of whatever Mr. J.C. Mayer says, it means that in 6 months time you can get a second hand Submariner for the price of a Seiko 5.
Hahah, I assume that's a compliment! 😅I've been wearing a 37mm a bit the last couple of weeks and, I hate to admit, I think I might agree with him. But please don't mistake this for Hodinkee levels of boot-licking. I'd be surprised if one day they don't misguidedly do a video in an actual burning room in order to placate their biggest donor.

I think there's more or less a bit of a consesus on this one!
I mentioned this on another review... the name of this brand is what turns me off. I'm just not a fan of the huge BERNY written across the dial. I wish they would just the logo and be done with it.
I'm not buying a watch with Berny on the dial anyway. Reminds me off Bernie Madoff and Bernie Sanders

I think they're really good in terms of their customer service, based on my limited experience, obviously (before anyone comes and tells me a service rep killed their dog or something...), but you're not wrong, Alex. This could've done with a bit more brainstorming, I think! 😅
