I'll have to keep riding my 21450RL till October I suppose. The standard graphics are available I guess. Thank you for responding and I'll definitely check that out
I’m about 99% sure this is the 450 for me. The smooth power and active nimble chassis sound awesome! Especially since I want to be on a bike that keeps me conscious about my technique My only concern is that i’m only 150 lbs so I think the suspension might feel a bit stiff. What can I do with clickers to make the bike a little softer if necessary? I guess getting the valving redone for my weight might be a good idea huh?
On a 2023 with the updated suspension settings, springs go quite a ways before going straight to a revalve. At 150lbs I'd probably drop fork oil (20-30cc's) and go out on fork compression at a minimum. Last years 54Nm (or even lighter optional 52Nm spring) are probably better suited for your weight. May even have to match the front with lighter springs to accommodate, but a stiffer front seems to help these bikes in the handling department. Best to talk to your local tuner and come up with a game plan!
CRF turns really good, but can be too good on faster (3rd/4th/5th gear) tracks. The 2019-2022 KTM is a better package out of the box, but owners would be well advised to learn the ins and outs of their AER air forks to find best comfort. Bottom line - CRF has more aggressive engine and handling, KTM is probably better for more riders. Cheers
Renthal 839 FatBar is stock...Has been from 2019+ on the CRF450R and 2021+ Kawasaki KX450. 827 bend is similar, but slightly different dimensionally. Cheers
Safety wire, installed with specialty safety wire pliers; They help keep grips from spinning. Most wire is thin gauge 0.8mm (0.032" American), not the thick stuff for rebar/fencing/general construction. Cheers.
@@cuddleman Better than 21'/22' for a majority of riders. More comfort and the stiffer 56Nmm shock spring was better for me at 180lbs...Additional insight here: www.dirtrider.com/story/tests/honda-crf450r-50th-anniversary-edition-first-ride-review-2023/
You need to show a walk around of the bike. Too many vids now days show the riders view of the ride only. Who cares about that I thought the video was to show the bike not the ride.
Dude love the new ride 🙌🏼 I followed u ages ago when u were riding ur 96’ Cr250r, mine did left case and can’t get one now 😂🤮 stay safe nice vids
I like the smooth ride 😎

what are those things on the grips? I see a lot of pros with them but I've never understood what they are

Yes, much smoother. Honda slowed it down, but in a good way!

What is the price
In USD, $9,899 plus $400 destination and $200 freight charges. It's $300 more than the standard CRF450R colorway, and worth it in my opinion!
