My heart goes out to you. I also lost my husband to cancer. I have been watching your videos for a little while now and find them fascinating. Gardening and tropical plants have been a passion for many years now. Do you have any hanging plants, and would you consider making a video of all you have? Please keep making videos. They are wonderful!
I used to have plenty. The past 3 years have been hectic looking after Hubby. So I have to let them go. Will definitely start growing them again in the future. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend.🥰
Thanks Liz for all the useful information you give! I have learned so much of your videos that I fell in love with succulents more and more every day ❤ I hope all the best to your hubby and yourself🙏 keep up the good work!
Happy to see you and Pedro, I had a sunset peony and it didn't make it, but I will get another one, thanks for the tips it. That what I've learned in this video. I've gotten so much better with my plants and my collections are beautiful. See you next time ✌💖🌹
Hi Liz, what is the amount of seaweed solution you add to the water please? I’m about to pot up a few Easter purchases. 😄 Thanks for all your videos. I’ve been brave enough to behead my 1 PVN after watching some of your old videos and she has a little pup! So exciting! Love this time of the year for succulents as they all look so wonderfully colourful.
Hi Liz hope all is going well with hubby just wondered if you have an echeveria Alata It took me a very long time to find any of them in google when trying to identify it ... keep well just finished doing the seasol watering of all my succulents just need to do the aeonium now... this video is the best as we can see how our succulents love the seasol watering and how it keeps them well
I find airdrying first on top of of the dry soil or paper towel is best. When roots emerge, plant into the soil and start watering when top soil dries up.
White fungus is due to humidity, soil being too wet and also not enough air circulation. I usually keep the soil dry when fungus is present and only water the plant when it needs it.
Hi Liz! Can you share more tips on getting rid of fungus gnats? It's been a problem for my succulents the pass months and I cannot get rid of them effectively.
You should look into Pinguicula’s. During their dormant period they have succulent leaves where during their growing period they have carnivorous leaves that trap fungus gnats with a sticky surface. It won’t get rid of them in the dirt, but it helps cut down on the number naturally. If you have a really bad infestation most people i’ve heard use mosquito bits. I don’t have any experience with it though.
Letting the soil dry up before watering again, along with sticky paper helps reduced them. I've just used some hydrogen peroxide on my soil and just waiting for the result. Having a glass of water near the potted plants also helps reduce their number by drowning them. They are attracted to water and will dive in. Good luck.
I've had the Pinguicula along with other carnivorous plants but did not work for me. We also can't get mosquito bits here in Australia. Sticky paper and drowning them in water had helped reduced their numbers for me. Just the new soil I have to now cook before using.

Thank you Silvana. Have a great weekend.
I like your baby succulents, it's very nice to see them grow from leaves, I love when a single leaf has many rosettes. 🤗

Is it better cut the leaves or break off? And do you get better roots airdrying or in soil’

Hi Liz, Please suggest how to protect scullent root from white fungus

How do you kill those eggs with h2o2?
Put some in water and use it to water the p[lants. This should kill the eggs but sticky paper needed to trap the mature gnats.
