Falter Im Wind is much better than I Am Yours, Milestones were great and different in 1972 whilst The Makemakes weren't exactly up to date in 2015, their song wasn't atmospheric and magical for the levels of Eurovision today, I knew they'd finish bottom 5 but if around in the 90s they would've finished in the middle of the scoreboard I think.
This song builds beautifully to the conclusion: strings, brass, percussion, everything!! It is still memorable after 40 years. So much classier than the bearded lady-chap!

@Aestheticular But for those years their reasons for withdrawing are known. In 1969 they didn't participate because they didn't want to perform in Franco's Spain (it was held in Spain that year) and in 1970 they didn't participate because of the 4 winners in 1969.
Canción brillante, mezcla perfecta de ritmo, folk, poesía y mucho talento. Tema de gran belleza y con sonido muy actual, para nada pasado de moda. Milestones hacen una gran trabajo, en especial el vocalista de la izquierda. Su quinta posición con 100 puntos es sorprendentemente justa y necesaria! Una de las mayores sorpresas del festival en esa década. Doy 10 Puntazos.
This finished 5th. Now, I'm not saying it should have won - possibly one of the greatest ever Eurovision songs won that year - but why oh why didn't they rush release an English language version immediately? It could have become "Eres Tu" the year before "Eres Tu"!
