Great video, clear instructions and worked a treat for me. Took my time with the screws but they located themselves just fine. 15 minutes, job done. Thanks
Thanks screw thread on the main body was quite stiff at first but came off ok used a bit of oil as lubricant to put back on. Volltage was 2.89 after 5 years.
Very clear and easy to follow. However, the metal strip holding the battery in place snapped off! I’ve used sticky tape to keep it there but it’s not very strong. Worse still, unscrewing the monitor was very very difficult and I’ve not been able to screw it back on fully inspite of lubricating and taking great care. Any advice please?
How old is it? Make sure nothing is trapped preventing the unit from being screwed together. Lube is essential, but sounds like you've used it so advice is undo and check everything.
Less than eight years but it’s the first time I’ve had to change the battery. I cleaned everything up and lubricated but the plastic threads are really tight now. It’s not under cover. Maybe affected by the the extreme heat two summers ago?
Screws are just you LOL I 'maintain' 4 of these for myself and friends, all easy to service and have done for decades, even before the 'sonic' version. Good to see you also cleaning the 'funnel' on the sender unit, often covered in a white oil 'dust' which can lesson the ability to send the signal. I also use a multi meter to test the voltage of the old battery, just to confirm it's at fault. A new fresh battery will push out 3.3v, once it drops to 2.9v, it'll start to give issues.Should also note that many CR2430 batteries now come with an almost invisible protective film which needs to be removed, otherwise it won't properly 'contact' the sender unit and simply will act as if it's dead. Some isopropyl alcohol will clean it properly off (or nail polish remover will do same job).

I replaced the battery as per video, it worked initially but I noticed the flashing triangle recurs ! The battery I got is from the company I bought the watchman. Is the replaced battery not good or what ?

Thanks for nice clear instructions. I was dreading doing it but now i feel ready to try.
It's fairly simple and not too difficult.

Way too much information for a simple battery change. Made me laugh though🤣

Very good. 100% accurate.
No problem👍👍
Thanks for the clear instruction.
No problem👍

Is the replaced battery not good or what ?
Sounds odd, i just bought mine from Amazon. Probably worth contacting Watchman as i guess they will just send a replacement.
Great video. Just for info, mine sends an update out once every 17 minutes
Cool, think mine was slightly less.👍👍
Excellent. Thank you
No problem.
And the battery type is...?
Mentioned in the video and Amazon link in description.
