These are some great choices, I have never heard about the idol game before. Totally gonna get it! Oh, my choice is silent hill origins. Was a psp game but is much better on vita!
James, what's your opinion on the Silent Hill game on the Vita? I have heard many people say it's total garbage, but others have said it's a good time as long as you aren't expecting a traditional Silent Hill game. Anyway, just curious. I haven't picked this one up yet but have occasionally considered it.
It's "okay". As a Silent Hill game it definitely fails as it's not the least bit scary or faithful to the series, hardly has any cutscenes to draw you in, minus fan service with the creatures. As a dungeon crawler it's pretty decent though, it has okay RPG elements to it and strategy. Just don't expect a whole lot.
Download the PS1 silent hill, it's way superior. Hmm while your at it get the resident evil classic games, much better than RE:revelations which is more like a full on action adventure game and far removed from the horror genre
Hey Ps vita at 2am I totally agree with your vita game choices. Also there are these games to play on the vita as well. Zero escape the notary games that goes with Zero Escape Virtuas Reward and 999, Zero Escape Time Deliemma, Danganropa 1,2, V3 and Ultra Despair Girls. Resident evil 1,2,3, Parasite Eve. Plus this game I just looked into 👀 was Fear Effect for the ps1 the first and second. Have you heard or played Fear Effect?
That's a crazy coincidence, as I am currently playing the Nonary Games right now! Just finished 999 a few days ago. Yes I have played both Fear Effect games back on the PS1, so much fun. :)
Mary Skelter Nightmares is probably another one that would be good to play for Halloween. Edit: And yep I just saw your comment to the others saying you only played it for a few hours, so play it on Halloween ;) hehehehheheh (okay just play it when you feel like it).

Oh yeah man the Vita definitely has more horror games in it's library, far more than one would think. Exclusive wise though that may be a bit more tricky.

If you wanna do another one with those guidelines I think games that're also available on the PC would be ok, because a large variety of Vita games seem to also be on the PC. Knock-knock, also Grim Fandango There are some zombie games worth getting aswell, Dead nation, Dead Ahead, 2013 infected wars and chicken range, now that's a horror show, I certainly had a look of horror on my face knowing this game was being released on vita and at a high price, you would have to be a zombie to buy it Have to say this video list was predictable, pretty much already knew what was on it before watching, I mean where was the up & coming NightCry, every vid on UA-cam has these games on it, thinking outside the box would have been better for newcomers & old alike, more exposure for past indie games not just current ones Now that would be good, a new segment doing old forgotten indie games, afterall there are loads JUDGE-D-E-A-T-H1 out, Bye&Gone
You do make a fair point there Tony, and I usually do try to choose the more obscure titles, however I talk so much about the niche stuff that I wanted to give some love to the bigger hitters out there, since I rarely ever talk about them. Also NightCry isn't out on Vita yet so I couldn't cover that one. I thought the Idol Death Match TV game was unexpected at least. I do agree about the list being over all predictable though, next year I'll definitely do something different. :)

I just feel like if we don't help the indie devs with more exposure to help sell there games(especially old forgotten games)then the little indie studio's will soon disappear from the vita scene, it would make them think again if some of their old games started selling again, also many indie gems are not even listed that deserve to be in EUROPE, not sure about USA. A good example of this would be salt&sanctuary, we have to keep indie devs on-board or the vita will die quicker than we want it too, Japanese devs are quickly leaving it behind, switch is taking that mantle & rightly so. Yep indie devs are vita's short term future. I mentioned NightCry because death mark was, which isn't out yet in Europe, don't know about the States, I know it's out in Japan but still :-)

One of the best games on 3ds for sure Don't worry about owning & mentioning other hardware or its games, i own a switch but have no problem texting about it, not all people on here are just vita owners, many have multiple hardware, i for one ain't gonna miss out on other games I can't get on vita because of loyalty, I am a handheld gamer not a hardware manufacturer. I'm sorry but RE Revelations 2 on Vita sucks... It's almost unplayable. And i freaking love this Game. I own it on several systems, but this one? HORRIBLE.
I've heard it has a better framerate than Borderlands 2, and i loved the Borderlands port. So if that's true I'll still pick it up on vita even if it isnt a great port

LA Noire is also very good for dark times. It is called "noire". It is on consoles and PC.
